Luis Rosado

Luis Rosado Robles (born December 6, 1955 in Santurce, Puerto Rico) is a retired Major League Baseball first baseman. He played during two seasons at the major league level for the New York Mets. He signed as an amateur free agent by the Mets in 1972. Rosado played his first professional season with their Rookie league Marion Mets in 1972, and his last with the Baltimore Orioles' Triple-A Rochester Red Wings and the Detroit Tigers' Double-A Birmingham Barons and Triple-A Nashville Sounds in 1985.

Harry Shum, Jr.

Harry Shum, Jr. (born April 28, 1982) is a Costa Rican-American actor, dancer, singer, and choreographer. He is best known for his roles as Mike Chang on the Fox comedy-drama television series Glee and as Magnus Bane on the Freeform fantasy television series Shadowhunters. He has appeared in the films Stomp the Yard, You Got Served, Step Up 2: The Streets, and Step Up 3D. He also played Elliot Hoo in The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers.

Early life

Shum was born in Limón, Costa Rica. His mother is a native of Hong Kong, and his father is from Guangzhou, China. They relocated to Costa Rica, where Shum and his two older sisters were born. When Shum was six years old, the family moved to San Francisco, California. He stated: "I feel I have the best of so many worlds. I speak Cantonese and Spanish. Spanish is actually my first language before I learned Cantonese and English." In an interview, he said that his earliest motivations to dance were from watching Ginuwine, Dru Hill, and Usher, before becoming influenced by iconic dancers like Gene Kelly and Michael Jackson.

The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers

The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers, commonly called The LXD, was a 2010–2011 web series about two groups of rival dancers: The Alliance of the Dark who are the villains and The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers, the heroes, who discover they have superpowers referred to as "the Ra" through their dance abilities. The entire story takes place over hundreds of years, beginning in the 1920s up to the year 3000.

The series was created, directed and produced by Jon M. Chu who says he was inspired to create the series by Michael Jackson's "Thriller" and "Smooth Criminal" music videos and by the dancers he met while filming the movie Step Up 2: The Streets. He has described the show as "balletic", "operatic", "high quality" and a "Justice League of dance." The series was choreographed by Christopher Scott and Harry Shum, Jr. with assistant choreography by Galen Hooks. Members had a wide variety of specialties including hip-hop, krumping, contemporary, tricking, popping, b-boying, jazz, tap, and ballet. All of the choreography and stunts were real; there were no special effects or wire work and the entire series was shot on location without the use of green screens.

Roger Aaron Brown

Roger Aaron Brown (born June 12, 1949) is an African American character actor known for his role as Deputy Chief Joe Noland on the hit CBS drama television series The District from 2000 to 2004, and for his minor role in the 1988 science fiction film Alien Nation as Det. Bill "Tug" Tuggle, the partner and friend of Matthew Sikes (James Caan) at the beginning of the film. Brown reprised his Alien Nation role in a flashback scene in the pilot episode of the Fox TV series Alien Nation.

Brown appears in the first two episodes of the TNT television series Saving Grace as the Chief of Detectives, as well as portraying Colonel Joseph Ntila in the 4th episode of the 6th season of House M.D.. Brown has made a number of appearances in many films especially Caravan Pictures. He portrayed John Henry in Disney's Tall Tale (1995). Other roles include Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1979), Cobra (1986), Near Dark (1987), Action Jackson (1988), Downtown (1990), and RoboCop 2 (1990).

He also provided the voice of Achilles Davenport in the 2012 video game, Assassin's Creed III. He reprised the role, albeit as a much younger version of the character, in 2014's prequel Assassin's Creed Rogue.
