Chris Emerson (Tad Hilgenbrink), a young former surfing pro, and his younger sister Nicole (Autumn Reeser) move to Luna Bay following the death of their parents, to live in a house owned by their Aunt Jillian (Gabrielle Rose). Chris leaves his address at the home of Edgar Frog (Corey Feldman), the town's surfboard shaper, in hopes of getting a job. Chris is approached at their new home by former pro surfer Shane Powers (Angus Sutherland), who invites him to a party that night.
Chris and Nicole go to the party, where Shane and his friends Kyle (Shaun Sipos), Erik (Merwin Mondesir), and Jon (Kyle Cassie) are entertaining themselves with the human guests. Chris showers with a sexy girl named Lisa (Moneca Delain) and Shane gets Nicole alone, chats with her for a bit, and then tricks her into drinking his blood. When Chris learns that Nicole has been with Shane, he angrily, and protectively, takes her home, where she begins to manifest vampiric strength and rage. But before she hurts Chris, she is knocked out by Edgar, who reveals that he is a vampire hunter, and Nicole has been infected with vampirism. Chris throws Edgar out of the house. Then, Lisa shows up and pretends to chat with Chris for a bit before she finally tries to seduce and feed on him. In fending her off, he accidentally impales her on a mounted rack of antlers, killing her explosively when she turns into stone and explodes.

Five years later in San Cazador, California, Edgar is facing eviction from his trailer and tries to raise funds by selling his collection of old comic books to his friend Zoe, who works at a local comics shop. While there, a famous blogger named Johnny Trash enters; Zoe explains that Johnny is there for a rave that's going on in the town.
Back at his trailer, Edgar is approached by Gwen Lieber, a writer of romantic vampire novels, whose brother Peter was kidnapped during a rave in Ibiza, Spain, and she suspects vampiric activity. She gives him a vial of a drug called "The Thirst" which is given to people at raves hosted by a person known as "DJ X"; he determines that it is vampire blood. Gwen offers him a large sum of money to rescue her brother, but he turns it down.
The Lost Boys is a 1987 American horror comedy film starring Jason Patric, Corey Haim, Kiefer Sutherland, Jami Gertz, Corey Feldman, Dianne Wiest, Edward Herrmann, Alex Winter, Jamison Newlander, and Barnard Hughes.
The film is about two Arizona brothers who move to California and end up fighting a gang of young vampires. The title is a reference to the Lost Boys in J. M. Barrie's stories about Peter Pan and Neverland, who, like the vampires, never grow up.
The film was followed by two direct to video sequels, Lost Boys: The Tribe and Lost Boys: The Thirst.
Michael Emerson (Jason Patric) and his younger brother, Sam (Corey Haim), move with their recently divorced mother, Lucy (Dianne Wiest), to the beach community of Santa Carla, California. The family moves in with Lucy's father (Barnard Hughes), a cantankerous and eccentric old man who lives on the outskirts of town and enjoys taxidermy as a hobby.
Michael and Sam begin hanging out on the Boardwalk, which is plastered with flyers of missing people. While Lucy gets a job at a local video store run by a conservative man named Max (Edward Herrmann), Michael becomes fascinated by Star (Jami Gertz), a beautiful young woman he spots at the Boardwalk one night and who is in a relationship with David (Kiefer Sutherland), the mysterious leader of a local gang. Meanwhile, in the local comic book store, Sam meets brothers Edgar and Alan Frog (Corey Feldman and Jamison Newlander), a pair of self-proclaimed vampire hunters, who warn him that Santa Carla has been infiltrated by vampires and give him horror comics to teach him about the threat.
Lost Boys: Reign of Frogs is a four-issue comic book mini-series that was released in May to August 2008. It was published by Wildstorm and the story is set between The Lost Boys and Lost Boys: The Tribe.
The story starts out in Luna Bay, California shortly before the events Lost Boys: The Tribe. A young child enters into Edgar Frog's surfboard shop looking to become his next apprentice. He is subjected to a few tests in order to determine if he is a vampire. After his humanity is established Edgar turns him down and the boy mentions training with his brother Alan Frog instead. Edgar tells the boy to be quiet and then starts to tell him a story. The story then leads into a flashback of the Frog Brothers hunting days in Washington, D.C. in 1990. They hunt a series of politicians in a job for the president. The boy expresses skepticism that the president would hire them for such a task, and Edgar tells him how many politicians over the years were vampire slayers. The story then leads into another flashback in the year 1990 where the Frog brothers are returning to their comic book store in Santa Carla. When they arrive they think their parents are dead, and David from the original movie appears along with a crew of new vampires.
We are the misfits of the world
We're writing songs and we want to
Sleep all day and party all night
We never grow old, we never die
Only we can, only we can
I feel so sick and tired
To watching this empathy
They run around these empty streets
Believing they have a purpose
I just can't understand, the meaning of their mission
We'll seek a day and make them say
Living inside of us
We'll suck out your poison
We'll feed on your person
Lets go, we are the shadows
Around each and every streetline
The living dead, forever young
The soldiers of the night
We are the misfits of the world
We're writing songs and we want to
Sleep all day and party all night
We never grow old, yeahhhh...
We are the misfits of the world
We're writing songs and we want to
Sleep all day and party all night
We never grow old, we never die... !
Every night is a fucking feast
(We will live forever)
We live a last without love
(We will live forever)
Only we can, only we can
Live forever
Whoever coming for your folks, you lied
Only we can, only we can
Live together
We thought days keep sinking in
You would have waste your fucking life
Why should I show you the glory of this
You would have waste your fucking life
Until' this boys open up your eyes
(Eyes, eyes, eyes)
We are the end of the world
We will never die
We will never die
We are the misfits of the world
We're writing songs and we want to
Sleep all day and party all night
We never grow old, we never die
We are the misfits of the world
We're writing songs and we want to
Sleep all day and party all night
We never grow old...
We are the misfits of the world
We're writing songs and we want to
Sleep all day and party all night
