The Great White Stanhope is the debut stand-up comedy album by Doug Stanhope. Released in 1998 by Uproar Records.
The CD has been renounced by Stanhope, who was so dissatisfied with the final product that his follow-up CD, Sicko, was created solely to replace The Great White Stanhope. For this reason, the majority of the material presented on his freshman effort also appears on Sicko. The most well-known bits not included on Sicko include: "Jizzed by Hertz" and "Death from Above".
Great White is an American rock band.

The Great White is a sit-down wooden/steel rollercoaster made and built by the now defunct Custom Coasters International.
At Morey's Piers & Beachfront Waterparks, it has been operating since 1996 and has 2 trains from the Philadelphia Toboggan Company with 6 cars per train. Riders are arranged 2 across in 2 rows for a total of 24 riders per train. The ride starts by dropping into a tunnel beneath the boardwalk. After exiting the tunnel, the ride climbs up the 110-foot lift hill before dropping 100 feet at a 50-degree-angle, reaching a maximum speed of 50 mph (80 km/h). The ride then goes off the boardwalk and towards the beach. This ride was built over the beach because Morey's Piers ran out of room on the pier. A rather special feature is that the ride lacks drive tires, as the downward slope of the station run is enough to propel the train in the station. This ride is being constantly checked out by inspectors and has its track replaced frequently. This is one of the three coaster's at Morey's and the only one that is a hybrid coaster. The ride has been retracked by Martin & Vleminckx.
The Great White is the first inverted roller coaster in Texas and the first roller coaster to be built at a SeaWorld park.
Despite its shortened track length, The Great White follows an identical ride layout as the Batman the Ride coasters at numerous Six Flags parks. At 2,562 feet (about 150 shorter than Batman's 2,693 foot layout), the coaster doesn't allow riders as much time to "recuperate" between inversions, consequently offering an extreme, forceful ride experience. Furthermore, The Great White sits lower to the ground, often deceiving its riders with elements such as "foot-choppers" as there are many trees and shrubs surrounding the coaster's track. The Great White is sometimes considered to be more intense than its Six Flags' cousin because of its added 8th row (Goliath has only seven rows per train) and shorter track length (2,562 feet, compared to Goliath's 2,700 feet. Its layout consists of the following inversions:
Let's shake this town, baby
Come with me
I need a little lovin' company
C'mon now, I know where we can go
This is the time
T'stay out all night
I've gotta fire like a heavenly light
C'mon baby, let's take a drive
C'mon, baby
Let's do it right
Time to dance
In the magic light
Of the desert moon
Well, let's lay it down
Under a cactus tree
Give a little lovin' ecstacy
C'mon now, it's time to go
Little baby
You're a beautiful sight
I've got the love, we have the night
C'mon baby, it's time to fly
C'mon, baby
Let's do it right
Time to dance
In the magic light
Of the desert
Come on, honey
Let's get it right
Make romance
In the magic light
Of the desert moon
C'mon, baby
Let's do it right
Time to dance
In the magic light
Of the desert
Come on, honey
Let's get it right
Make romance
In the magic light
