The Damage Done (book)

The Damage Done is a book by Australian Warren Fellows. It portrays his time in the notorious Bangkwang prison, nicknamed "Big Tiger". Fellows was sentenced to life imprisonment in 1978, convicted of heroin trafficking between Bangkok, Thailand and Australia.

The Damage

The Damage is a collection of Ludus songs culled from the Manchester post-punk group's albums, singles, b-sides, and live recordings. It includes the band's most famous song, "Breaking the Rules", as well as a cover of Brigitte Bardot's 1970 single "Nue au Soleil". The sleeve includes Ludus biography written by LTM owner James Nice, band discography and excerpts from contemporary reviews of the original Ludus records, as well as several reproductions of Linder Sterling's collages.

This compilation includes 1 song from EP The Visit (track 6), 2 songs from EP Pickpocket (tracks 7 and 17), 3 songs from the album The Seduction (tracks 8, 9 and 10) and 1 song from the LP Danger Came Smiling (track 14). The rest of the material consists of songs from 7" and 12" singles, one song (track 1) that was previously available only on earlier Ludus compilations, and 3 songs recorded at the famous concert in Manchester's The Haçienda in 1982. Out of 18 songs on this compilation, 8 are also available on the other two Ludus reissue CDs.

The Damage (Marillion song)

"The Damage" is a song by British neo-progressive rock band Marillion which appeared on their 13th studio album, Marbles, released in May 2004. In October 2005, a one-disc live album containing a subset of the full two-disc studio version entitled Marbles Live was released to retail shops in the UK. The recording was made at the London Astoria in July 2004. To promote this album, the track "The Damage" was made available as a digital download; it is thus the third song to be released from Marbles and the only track to be released from Marbles Live. Download-only releases were not yet eligible to chart on the UK Singles Chart at the time, but the single did reach #2 on the UK Official Download Chart. There was no physical release available, but a one-track CD version was sent out as a promo (source of cover art).

Damage Done

Damage Done is the sixth full-length studio album by the Swedish melodic death metal band Dark Tranquillity. Here, the band returns to a more classic style while holding the new changes made in their albums Haven and Projector, especially in the keyboards, but this is the first record since "Projector" that does not feature clean vocals. Martin Henriksson started doing some "lead guitar riffs" on the record, so the band showed influences from The Gallery in the duality of lead guitars. Mikael Stanne said that the lyrics on this album are about the frailty of life.

A video was recorded for the song "Monochromatic Stains". It was done in a monochromatic format and bears visual and thematic resemblance to the film The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari. The video was made by Achilleas Gatsopoulos. The Agonist recorded a cover version of the song, released as a track on Century Media: Covering 20 Years of Extremes.

The song "Cathode Ray Sunshine" is featured in the video game's soundtrack, Brütal Legend.
