The Crash was a pop rock band from Turku, Finland, originally influenced by Britpop but later taking its lead from a diverse range of genres including Motown, disco, new wave and 80's rock. The band formed after Teemu Brunila and Samuli Haataja met in 1991, with both Erkki Kaila and Dani Aavinen joining to complete the line up. Originally, the band was called Ladies & Gentlemen, but later changed its name to New Deal, then again changed it to The Crush. In 1998, the name was changed to The Crash and Dani Aavinen was replaced by keyboard player, Toni Ahola.

The first series of Life On Mars focuses on Sam's life following the crash and his arrival in 1973. Elements are thrown in to variously suggest that he is mad, in a coma, or has actually travelled back in time. Also during the first series run, Sam is informed that he is DI (Detective Inspector) to DCI Gene Hunt and the rest of the CID department in Manchester in 1973. This revelation is something that Sam finds hard to understand; he spends most of the series working alone, against his team and Gene.
Vincent Pierre Claude Belorgey (born July 31, 1975), known as Kavinsky (sometimes stylized as KΔVINϟKY), is a French house artist whose production style is very reminiscent of the electropop film soundtracks of the 1980s. Kavinsky claimed that his music is inspired by thousands of movies he watched as a young boy and that he has cherry-picked the best parts from them, consolidating them into one concept. Kavinsky has been compared to many similar French house artists including Daft Punk and Danger. He achieved greater mainstream recognition after his track "Nightcall" was featured in the 2011 film Drive.
After many years as an actor, Kavinsky's musical career started in 2005 after being inspired by his close friends Jackson Fourgeaud and Quentin Dupieux, the latter director also included Kavinsky's music in his film Steak. During this period Kavinsky produced his first single "Testarossa Autodrive" which was inspired by the Testarossa model of Ferrari (one of which Vincent drives in real life). Kavinsky presented the single to Quentin, who in turn presented it to a record label he had access to because of his filming career, and Kavinsky signed with Record Makers.
I love these feet
They get me home when I'm all alone
Right through these streets
As lonely as I am when I go home
So stay with me
Let's feed the night and kill the morning
City breathes
The sun will rise and stop the falling yeah
I'm dancing though I never dance
You're laughing though you never laugh
I hope we're more than friends
and I hope this will never end, oh
This shall never end oh this shall never end
Angels fall
Break the windows on the rooftops
Strangers call
They go to places where rock'n'roll rocks
Embraces
Around the corners love is being born
White faces
cry alone when their love is being torn
I'm dancing though I never dance
You're laughing though you never laugh
I hope we're more than friends
and I hope this will never end, oh
This shall never end oh this shall never end
Love, gotta love, just feel it, got a lot
Ooh-aah, gotta love just feel it, got a lot
I'm dancing though I never dance
You're laughing though you never laugh
I hope we're more than friends
and I hope this will never end, oh
This shall never end oh this shall never end
(Never...)
(This shall never end...)
