The Corridor (2013 film)
The Corridor (in Persian:دهلیز; transliterated as: Dehliz) is a 2013 Iranian drama film directed by Behrouz Shoeibi. Reza Attaran and Hanieh Tavassoli play the leading roles. The film mainly deals with the Islamic concept of Qisas. This was Shoeibi's debut film. As he has been a director's assistant and an actor, he didn't have some technical problems other first film directors do. This was also one of rare performances of Reza Attaran, not in a comic role. Hanieh Tavassoli won the crystal simorgh for best actress in a leading role in 31st Fajr International Film Festival.
Plot
Shiva (Hanieh Tavassoli) is the family head and looks after his little son, Amir Ali (Mohammad Reza Shirkhanlou); a witty and playful boy, in the absence of his husband, Behzad (Reza Attaran) who has committed a manslaughter in a fight on a parking space with another man. Now he is in prison and waiting for his verdict. Amir Ali is a first grader and thinks his father is dead, but after visiting him in the prison he gets depressed.
The Corridor
The Corridor is one of the world's earliest retail arcades, designed by architect Henry Goodridge and built in 1825, in Bath, Somerset, England.
The fashion for arranging shops in arcades arose in Paris in the late 18th Century. The Corridor followed the trend set by London's Burlington Arcade.
The Grade II listed arcade has a glass roof. The High Street end has a Doric colonnade. Each end has marble columns.
A musicians gallery, with a wrought iron balustrade and gilt lions heads and garlands, is in the centre of the arcade.
Number 7 was the photographic studio of William Friese-Greene.
Bombing
On Wednesday 18 December, 1974 a telephone warning alerted police in Bath that a bomb was shortly to explode in The Corridor. The subsequent blast from a 5lb bomb planted by the IRA caused huge damage and forced the Corridor to undergo a major renovation programme. No one was hurt in the blast.

The Corridor (Lithuanian: Koridorius) is a 1995 Lithuanian drama film directed by Šarūnas Bartas. It has a fragmentary narrative without dialogue and depicts several people in Vilnius. According to the director, the title symbolizes "the atmosphere of a corridor between yesterday and today, containing many doors".
The film was shown in the Panorama section of the 45th Berlin International Film Festival. It won the Fipresci Prize at the 1995 Vienna International Film Festival.

David Stratton of Variety wrote: "The camera lingers on various characters, including a youth played by the director, who just sit or stand about, looking miserable. Nothing much happens. ... Whatever Bartas was trying to communicate in The Corridor is difficult to determine, and maybe only the initiated can work it out."

Plot
