The Apprentice (U.S. season 10)

The Apprentice 10 is the tenth installment of the United States version of international franchise and reality game series, The Apprentice. For this particular season, the show departed from Celebrity Apprentice and returned to its precursor, featuring unknowns as apprentices instead of celebrities. Not since season six, during the 2006–07 television season, did the show use this format. The theme of the season was "second chance" and the contestants are those affected by the late-2000s recession.

The format of the show is much the same as was employed between the first and fifth seasons, with the changes introduced in The Apprentice: Los Angeles being discarded. The biggest change is to the rewards—unlike the often lavish rewards that had been granted in prior seasons to the winning teams, in this season, the winning Project Managers are rewarded with one-on-one meetings with some of America's best-known business leaders and CEOs. Taping began June 1, 2010, and ended on June 29, 2010. The season premiered on Thursday, September 16, 2010, at 9–11pm ET.

Fleur bleue (The Apprentice)

Fleur bleue is a 1971 Quebec-made comedy/drama film starring Susan Sarandon and Steve Fiset. Although the title literally translates to English as Blue Flower, it is better known in English as The Apprentice, which is a better translation of the idiom used in the title. It is one of the very few Canadian films that is functionally bilingual, shot in both English and French, with the appropriate dialogue dubbed for the appropriate audience.

Plot

Jean-Pierre (Fiset) is a working class young Francophone with big dreams. He comes under the tutelage of his older best friend, a con-man and bank robber named Dock (Jean-Pierre Cartier), who starts teaching him the secrets of his trades, and making him an accomplice in his crimes. He is dating Dock's virginal sister, who is also active in the Quebec separatist movement.

To make ends meet, Jean-Pierre works a series of menial jobs. While doing clean-up on a commercial shoot, he meets Elizabeth (Sarandon), a beautiful Anglophone model. After he is fired from the shoot for explaining the English meaning of the French name of the product she is supposed to be selling, she starts going out with him out of a sense of guilt, and they soon become lovers. However, she is a sexual libertine with no intention of being monogamous, and this soon strains their relationship.

The Apprentice: Los Angeles is the sixth installment of the US version of The Apprentice reality television show. It was confirmed on November 30, 2005. Like the other Apprentice seasons, Donald Trump is the executive producer and host in his quest to hire a sixth apprentice. In a departure from the previous five Apprentice seasons, this one was shot in Los Angeles, California. As with seasons two through five, this season featured 18 contestants (whom Trump calls "candidates"). Ivanka Trump made her debut as a full-time boardroom judge this season (replacing Carolyn Kepcher, who was recently fired).Donald Trump, Jr. also made his debut as a full-time judge this season (replacing George H. Ross, who did not appear due to the show's LA filming schedule, but did make a cameo appearance in the finale).
