The 100 can refer to:

Michael H. Hart

Michael H. Hart (born April 27, 1932) is an American astrophysicist and author, most notably of The 100: A Ranking of the Most Influential Persons in History. He has described himself as a white separatist and is active in white separatist causes.

History

Hart's first book was The 100: A Ranking of the Most Influential Persons in History (1978), which has sold more than 500,000 copies and been translated into 15 languages. The first person on Hart's list was Muhammad, chosen over Jesus or Moses. (Hart, 1992) Hart attributes this to the fact that Muhammad was "supremely successful" in both the religious and secular realms. He also accredits Muhammad for his role in the development of Islam, far more influential than Jesus' contribution to the development of Christianity. Hart claims that St. Paul was more pivotal than Jesus to the growth of Christianity.

His fourth book, Understanding Human History, was called "racist" by the Southern Poverty Law Center.

Racial conferences

In 1996, Hart addressed a conference organized by Jared Taylor's white separatist organization, New Century Foundation, publisher of American Renaissance. He proposed partitioning the United States into four states: a white state, a black state, a Hispanic state, and an integrated mixed-race state.

The 100 trilogy

The 100 trilogy is a young adult science fiction trilogy by Kass Morgan. The first book in the series, The 100, was published on September 3, 2013, by Little, Brown Books for Young Readers.Day 21, the sequel, was released on September 25, 2014, and Homecoming was released on February 26, 2015, completing the trilogy.

Prior to the publication of the first book, television producer Jason Rothenberg became interested in adapting the story for the screen. The television series premiered on March 19, 2014, on The CW Network and starred Eliza Taylor and Bob Morley as Clarke Griffin and Bellamy Blake, respectively.

Plot

The 100

The trilogy is set three centuries after a thermonuclear apocalypse, where the only known survivors of the human race live in a space colony consisting of spaceships joined together in orbit around the Earth, governed by The Chancellor, who leads its legislative council. Resources are so scarce that all crimes, no matter how small, are punishable by death, unless the perpetrator is under 18 years of age.
