The Thaheem of Sargodha are a nomadic Saraiki-speaking tribe who came from Multan along the Indus river after Muhammad bin Qasim. They dispersed to various Saraiki-speaking areas of Sargodha. In Sargodha, the Thaheem are businessmen, traders, and civil servants. Most of Thaheems are attached to their ancestors' culture. They have simple traditions for marriages and deaths. Marriages with parallel cousins are preferred. They are mostly settled in Sillanwali, Chinyot, Malakwal, Shahpur areas.
The Thaheem (or Thahim, Tamimi) are a Sindhi tribe said to be of Arab origin found in Sindh and Punjab provinces of Pakistan.
The word Thaheem said to be derived from the name of an influential tribe of the Arabian Peninsula, the Banu Tamim. Thaheems were initially warriors who migrated to the South Asia and conquered India under the command of the Muslim general Muhammad Bin Qasim. A majority speaks Saraiki language. Thaheem in Sindh region speak Saraiki and Sindhi. in Balochistan (Khuzdar) Thaheem tribe speak Balochi and Brohi. The Bafan community of Gujarat claim descent from the Thaheem tribe. Currently majority of Thaheem live in South Punjab especially in District Chiniot, Dera Ghazi Khan, Sargodha (Sillanwali), Patraki(A village, hometown of NAWAB SAADULLAH KHAN THAHEEM,prime minister during SHAH JAHAN era.) and Sindh Province in Pakistan alongside the ancient conquest route.

Sargodha (Punjabi, Urdu: سرگودها) also known as "City of Eagles" is a city and the administrative centre of the Sargodha Division located in the Punjab province, Pakistan. It is the 11th largest city of Pakistan and one of the fastest growing cities in Pakistan.
The origins of this city are quite old but the proper town was established by the British in 1903. Although it was a small town in the beginning, the British Royal Air Force built an airport here due to its strategic location.
Sargodha is located 172 kilometres northwest of Lahore, in Sargodha District. It lies about 30 miles from the M-2 motorway, which connects Lahore and Islamabad. It is connected to the M-2 by several interchanges at different locations. Sargodha is roughly 94 km from Faisalabad, due southeast. Directly east connected by the M-2 motorway are Lahore and the route to Rawalpindi and Islamabad. Due east is the city of Jhang; toward the west are the city of Mianwali and the Chashma Barrage. Dera Ismail Khan is located 232 km southwest from the city.
