Teorema (journal)
Teorema is a triannual peer-reviewed academic journal of philosophy, published in Spain.
History
It was established in 1971 by Manuel Garrido and published without interruption until 1986. Teorema also organised a significant number of conferences and symposia, on a wide variety of topics. In December 1996, Teorema resumed publication. The current editor-in-chief is Luis M. Valdés-Villanueva (University of Oviedo).
Scope
Teorema publishes original articles in Spanish or in English in the following areas: logic, philosophy of language, philosophical logic, philosophy of mind, philosophy and history of science, epistemology, and related areas. The journal also regularly publishes special issues on specific themes and includes a supplement, limbo, a bulletin covering studies on the Anglo-Spanish philosopher Jorge Santayana.

The Journal is a daily newspaper produced in Newcastle upon Tyne. Published by ncjMedia, (a division of Trinity Mirror), The Journal is produced every weekday and Saturday morning and is complemented by its sister publications the Evening Chronicle and the Sunday Sun.
The newspaper mainly has a middle-class and professional readership throughout North East England, covering a mixture of regional, national and international news. It also has a daily business section and sports page as well as the monthly Culture magazine and weekly property supplement Homemaker.
News coverage about farming is also an important part of the paper with a high readership in rural Northumberland.
It was the named sponsor of Tyne Theatre on Westgate Road during the 2000s, until January 2012.
The first edition of the Newcastle Journal was printed on 12 May 1832, and subsequent Saturdays, by Hernaman and Perring, 69 Pilgrim Street, Newcastle. On 12 May 2007, The Journal celebrated its 175th Anniversary and 49,584th issue.
Journal (1977 TV series)
Journal is a Canadian short film television series which aired on CBC Television in 1977.
Premise
Independent short films were featured in this series. For example, Spence Bay was created in their northern community by a group of secondary school students and their teacher. Other films included Peggy Peacock and Jock Mlynek's North Hatley Antique Sale and Quebec Village; Mark Irwin's The Duel - Fencing, For The Love Of A Horse, Lacrosse, Sailaway, and Step By Step; and Tony Hall's Serpent River Paddlers.
This series was unrelated to CBC's news and current affairs series The Journal.

This 15-minute series was broadcast Sundays at 12:00 p.m. (Eastern) from 15 May to 25 September 1977.

Teorema (film)
Teorema is a 1968 Italian art-house film written and directed by Pier Paolo Pasolini and starring Terence Stamp, Laura Betti, Silvana Mangano, Massimo Girotti, and Anne Wiazemsky. It was the first time Pasolini worked primarily with professional actors. In this film, an upper-class Milanese family is introduced to, and then abandoned by, a divine force. Two prevalent motifs are the desert and the timelessness of divinity.
Plot
A mysterious figure known only as "The Visitor" appears in the lives of a typical bourgeois Italian family. His arrival is heralded at the gates of the family's Milanese estate by an arm-flapping postman. The enigmatic stranger soon engages in sexual affairs with all members of the household: the devoutly religious maid, the sensitive son, the sexually repressed mother, the timid daughter and, finally, the tormented father. The stranger gives unstintingly of himself, asking nothing in return. He stops the passionate maid from committing suicide with a gas hose and tenderly consoles her; he befriends and sleeps with the frightened son, soothing his doubts and anxiety and endowing him with confidence; he becomes emotionally intimate with the overprotected daughter, removing her childish innocence about men; he seduces the bored and dissatisfied mother, giving her sexual joy and fulfillment; he cares for and comforts the despondent and suffering father, who has fallen ill.
