Target rat
The target rat, Stochomys longicaudatus, is a species of rodent in the family Muridae. It is the only species in the genus Stochomys.
It is found in Benin, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Republic of the Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Nigeria, Togo, and Uganda.
Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
