Tanja Kostić (Serbian: Тања Костић, Tanja Kostić; born November 10, 1972) is a Swedish women's basketball player of Serbian origin best known for playing with the Oregon State Beavers from 1993-1996. She won a EuroLeague Women in 1998 with CJM Bourges Basket.
Kostic was born in Solna, Sweden, and was a member of the Swedish National Team for women's basketball when she was 19. She then moved to the United States and enrolled at Oregon State University (OSU) in 1992. Throughout her career at OSU, she recorded school records of 2,349 points scored and 1,001 rebounds made in 111 career games. She is the only player in school history to have collected both 2,000 points and 1,000 rebounds. Tanja made 869 field goals, and set Oregon State and Pac-10 records for free throws attempted (903), free throws made (608), and set an OSU record for field goals attempted with 1,773. She is the second all-time leading career scorer in the Pac-10, and the sixth all-time leading career rebounder in the Pac-10.

Later, she is confronted with the death of her friend David, who dies in a boating accident, for which they are to blame. At the end of the season begins a relationship with Tanya Felix, while Billie, her friend is pregnant by Jörg, Tanya's brother.
The second season, however, is more influenced by Tanya's entry into professional life. First, Tanya starts school is in danger, then they trained with a shipping company. At the end of the season, she receives an offer for three months to go to New York.
In the third season ended Tanja their education, while the shipping company, where she learns, is facing bankruptcy. Even at the end of this season and therefore at the end of the series lives Tanya not even in financially straightened circumstances.
