Tae Jin-ah (Hangul: 태진아; born on April 5, 1953) is the stage name of South Korean veteran trot singer Jo Bang-hun (Cho Bang-hun). He is the father of singer Eru (Cho Song-hyon).
In addition to his singing activities, he also hosts a radio program on KBS Happy FM Radio called 태진아의 쇼쇼쇼 (Tae Jin Ah Show Show Show).
He is also the founder of the group of companies that includes Jin-ah Entertainment (진아기획 jin-ah gihoek, his agency); Eru Entertainment (이루기획 ireu gihoek, Eru's agency); and YMC Entertainment (YMC엔터테인먼트 YMC enteoteinmeonteu, the record label of Ailee, Mighty Mouth, and Wheesung which is currently led by his elder son Cho Yu-myung).

Tae, also spelled Tai, is a rare Korean family name, a single-syllable masculine Korean given name, and an element used in many two-syllable Korean given names. As a family name, it is written with a hanja meaning "great", while in given names, it may have a variety of meanings depending on the hanja used to write it.
As a family name, Tae is written with only one hanja, meaning "great" (太). The 2000 South Korean Census found 8,165 people with the family name Tae. Sethakorn was born in Kanchanaburi. His maternal grandfather was of Teochew Chinese descent, while his other grandparents were native Thai people. His parents are schoolteachers. He has one sister, younger than him by three years. He attended high school at the Sethaburbampen School, where he graduated after completing all the required coursework in just two years. He got married in a ceremony held in Japan in June 2013.
