La Paga

"La Paga" is a song written and performed by Colombian singer-songwriter Juanes. It's the fifth of six radio singles from his second solo studio album, Un Día Normal. "La Paga" can also be found on the compilation album 2005 Año de Exitos, which also features hit singles by Paulina Rubio, Luis Fonsi, and David Bisbal, among many other artists. The remix features rapper Taboo and occasionally will.i.am, both from The Black Eyed Peas. The remix can be found on The Black Eyed Peas album Elephunk Bonus Track Version, and Juanes albums, Mi Sangre Tour Edition (2005), Mi Sangre (2005 Double Disc Version), and Mi Sangre European Tour Edition. "La Paga" contains a sample of Buena Vista Social Club's "Candela".

Music video

The music video is animated and directed by Jason Archer and Paul Beck. It features an anthropomorphic mouse in a human world. In the story of the video, the mouse finds that his human girlfriend is having an affair with another mouse. He goes to the bar, drinks a lot, goes to his car and crashes in the highway with a sign. At the end, he wakes up where he sees a female doctor, and the TV behind her shows his girlfriend.

Paga

Paga is a small town in Upper East region, lying north of Bolgatanga. Paga is the capital of Kassena Nankana West District, a district in the Upper East region of north Ghana. The town is located on the border of Burkina Faso and is 166 km south of Ouagadougou via the N5 highway, the main road linking Ghana and Burkina Faso.

Overview

Paga is known for its sacred crocodile ponds, where most visitors are surprised that they can touch a live crocodile. Paga is a small town in the Upper East Region, and has a population of about 10,000 people in the township.However, the entire population of Paga- including its outskirts- is over 100,000. Most of the inhabitants are farmers of the Kassena ethnic group, whose settlements and familial ties stretch over the colonial borders of Ghana into what is now Burkina Faso. The idea of different nationalities mean little to these people, who see their shared ancestry and ethnicity before what is the recent concept of nationality or religion. Many Kassenas in this small town Paga are multilingual, speaking their native Kasem and English among other languages.

Bagaš noble family

The Bagaš (Serbian: Багаш, Greek: Pagases) was a Serbian noble family that served the Serbian Kingdom and Empire.

History

The word Bagaš is derived from the Old Slavic measurement with the same name.

The family hailed from Kastoria. Some scholars believe that the Bagaš family was originally from Vranje in Serbia while some other scholars believe that historical sources do not confirm it. Some scholars believe the Bagaš family was of Vlach origin.

Members

There were several Serbian noblemen to which Antonije and Nikola might be related, such as kaznac Baldovin, Knez Baldovin and Župan Maljušat, son of knez Baldovin who controlled region of Vranje. Based on Nikola's surname (Baldovin Bagaš) some scholars concluded that they were indeed related.

Edward G. Pitka Sr. Airport

Edward G. Pitka Sr. Airport (IATA: GAL, ICAO: PAGA, FAA LID: GAL) is a state owned, public use airport located in Galena, a city in the Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area of the U.S. state of Alaska.

As per Federal Aviation Administration records, the airport had 7,784 passenger boardings (enplanements) in calendar year 2008, 7,447 enplanements in 2009, and 12,421 in 2010. It is included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, which categorized it as a non-primary commercial service airport (between 2,500 and 10,000 enplanements per year) based on enplanements in 2008, however it qualifies as a primary commercial service airport based on enplanements in 2010.

History

As Galena Airport, it was used as a military transport base during World War II, facilitating the transit of Lend-Lease aircraft to the Soviet Union.

As Galena Air Force Station, it was used by the USAF during the Cold War as an interceptor base for aircraft patrolling the western areas of Alaska.
