Nick Wechsler (actor)

Nick Wechsler (born September 3, 1978) is an American actor best known for his role as Kyle Valenti in the The WB teen drama series Roswell, and as Jack Porter on the ABC primetime soap opera Revenge.

Life and career

Wechsler was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. When he was 14, his elder brother died of cancer aged 24. He moved to Hollywood immediately after graduating from high school. He soon landed a small role as a purse-stealing punk in the television movie Full Circle. Shortly after, he was cast as Kevin "Trek" Sanders, a child prodigy conceived at a Star Trek convention, in the syndicated series Team Knight Rider. He also appeared in Silk Stalkings, Lazarus Man, and the feature film The Perfect Game.

From 1999 to 2002 Wechsler starred as Kyle Valenti on the television series Roswell. After Roswell, he guest starred in number of television series, including Malcolm in the Middle, North Shore, Cold Case, Crossing Jordan, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Lie to Me, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Chase. In 2008, he appeared in the independent film Lie to Me, about a couple navigating the hazards of an open relationship. From 2007 to 2008 he appeared in three episodes of Without a Trace.

Team Knight Rider

Team Knight Rider (TKR) is a syndicated television series that was adapted from the Knight Rider franchise and ran between 1997 and 1998. TKR was created by writer/producers Rick Copp and David A. Goodman, based on the original series created by Glen A. Larson, who was an executive producer. TKR was produced by Gil Wadsworth and Scott McAboy and was distributed by Universal Domestic Television and ran only a single season of 22 one-hour episodes before it was canceled due to poor ratings.

The story is about a new team of high-tech crime fighters assembled by the Foundation for Law and Government (FLAG, formed by Wilton Knight) who follow in the tracks of the legendary Michael Knight and his supercar KITT. Instead of "one man making a difference", there are now five team members who each has a computerized talking vehicle counterpart. Like the original duo, TKR goes after notorious criminals who operate "above the law" – from spies and assassins, to terrorists and drug dealers. The final episode of the season, and series, featured the reappearance of Michael Knight, seen only from behind, at the very end.

Brixton Karnes

Brixton Karnes (February 5, 1960 – May 16, 2012) is an American actor who starred as Steve Letourneau in the 2000 made-for-TV movie The Mary Kay Letourneau Story, as well as the team leader in the short-lived but well received Team Knight Rider, a 1997–1998 TV series based on the original Knight Rider series. While having been in some notable films such as Tank Girl (1995), he has primarily had recurring character or one-time appearances on American TV shows like Without a Trace, JAG, Silk Stalkings, Pensacola: Wings of Gold, and Father Dowling Mysteries. he died in 2012 he was 52 years old.
