Thermal grease (also called CPU grease, heat paste, heat sink compound, heat sink paste, thermal compound, thermal gel, thermal interface material, thermal paste, or grey goo) is a kind of thermally conductive (but usually electrically insulating) compound, which is commonly used as an interface between heat sinks and heat sources (e.g., high-power semiconductor devices). The main role of thermal grease is to eliminate air gaps or spaces (which act as thermal insulator) from the interface area so to maximize heat transfer. It is a Thermal interface material.
As opposed to Thermal Adhesive and Thermal Glue, the Thermal Grease does not add mechanical strength to the bond between heat source and heat sink, it will have to be coupled with a mechanical fixation mechanism.
Thermal grease consists of a polymerizable liquid matrix and large volume fractions of electrically insulating, but thermally conductive filler. Typical matrix materials are epoxies, silicones, urethanes, and acrylates, solvent-based systems, hot-melt adhesives, and pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes are also available. Aluminum oxide, boron nitride, zinc oxide, and increasingly aluminum nitride are used as fillers for these types of adhesives. The filler loading can be as high as 70–80 wt %, and the fillers raise the thermal conductivity of the base matrix from 0.17–0.3 watts per meter Kelvin or W/(mK), up to about 2 W/(mK).
The following is a list of clones of Sinclair Research's ZX Spectrum home computer:
The only official clones of the Spectrum were made by Timex. There were three models developed, only two of which were released:
A significantly more sophisticated machine than the original Spectrum. The most significant changes were the addition of a cartridge port, an AY-3-8912 sound chip and an improved ULA giving access to better graphics modes. The TS2068 was marketed in the United States, while very similar machines were marketed in Portugal and Poland as the Timex Computer 2068 (TC2068) and Unipolbrit Komputer 2086 (UK2086) respectively. A small amount of TC2068 were also sold in Poland.
A machine similar to the Spectrum 48K, but with the improved ULA from the TC2068 allowing access to the improved graphics modes. Marketed only in Portugal and Poland.
A never released variant of the TS2068 with 16 KB of RAM.
TIMS is a four-letter combination that may refer to:
Tim's is also a nickname for Tim Hortons, a popular chain of coffeeshops in Canada.
Tims can refer to Timberland branded boots.
Tears are blazing as torches
Intertwining completely
Everything what is create
The world is burning and on it's remains
Will rise a new unwanted material
Don't help me
Don't pull your hand out
A cold as a crystal and so indifferently
Dreams are drowned, this fair and pure
You are waiting for my end "novissima verba"
But you will hear anything,
My lips are close
I'm quite, but my thoughts are swearing
Flouncing in dark, I can't reach a breath
I hear freighting scream, I laugh at it
