TET is a Ukrainian-language national entertainment TV channel broadcasting in Ukraine. It is part of the large 1+1 Media Group, and broadcasts to more than 100 cities in Ukraine, with a technical penetration of 92.4%. The target audience of the channel is 14–30 years old.
The TV channel appeared on air in Kyiv on January 24, 1992, under the name “Tet-a-tet” and became the first alternative to the “solid” state television. In 2001, it received a regional status, and in 2003 became nationwide. Since 2009, TET has been the part of 1+1 Media Group.
According to the results of monitoring made by "Boycott Russian Films" campaign activists during the period from 8th to 14 September 2014 there was demonstrated 4 h 45 min of Russian content per day.
TV channel 16/12 — is the only independent news TV channel in Kazakhstan.
The Kazakhstan’s authorities have repeatedly tried to stop the broadcasting of Channel 16/12. The Channel’s employees were intimidated, arrested, their offices were searched and the equipment needed for their work seized. Specifically, in 2014, officers of the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan, along with law enforcement officers of Russia, burst into the office of the production company which was making videos for the TV Channel 16/12. They conducted a search, withdrew hard discs from the operating computers and took them away. Soon after that, a similar search was conducted in the Astana office of a company which was also making videos for the opposition channel. During the search, the equipment needed for their work was seized. Prior to this, Sanat Urnaliyev, journalist of TV Channel 16/12, and Viktor Gudz, the cameraman, were subjected to administrative arrest on a fake charge, along with a correspondent of Radio Azattyk, the Kazakh service of the Radio Liberty.
In music, 22 equal temperament, called 22-tet, 22-edo, or 22-et, is the tempered scale derived by dividing the octave into 22 equal steps (equal frequency ratios). Play Each step represents a frequency ratio of 21/22, or 54.55 cents ( Play ).
The idea of dividing the octave into 22 steps of equal size seems to have originated with nineteenth-century music theorist RHM Bosanquet. Inspired by the division of the octave into 22 unequal parts in the music theory of India, Bosanquet noted that an equal division was capable of representing 5-limit music with tolerable accuracy. In this he was followed in the twentieth century by theorist José Würschmidt, who noted it as a possible next step after 19 equal temperament, and J. Murray Barbour in his survey of tuning history, Tuning and Temperament. Contemporary advocates of 22 equal temperament include music theorist Paul Erlich.

Ten-eleven translocation methylcytosine dioxygenase 1 (TET1) is a member of the TET family of enzymes that in humans is encoded by the TET1 gene.
TET1 catalyzes the conversion of the modified DNA base 5-methylcytosine (5-mC) to 5-hydroxymethylcytosine (5-hmC). TET1 produces 5-hmC by oxidation of 5-mC in an iron and alpha-ketoglutarate dependent manner. The conversion of 5-mC to 5-hmC has been proposed as the initial step of active DNA demethylation in mammals.
TET1 appears to facilitate nuclear reprogramming of somatic cells to iPS cells.
Tet methylcytosine dioxygenase 2 (TET2) is a human gene. It resides at chromosome 4q24, in a region showing recurrent microdeletions and copy-neutral loss of heterozygosity (CN-LOH) in patients with diverse myeloid malignancies.
TET2 encodes a protein that catalyzes the conversion of the modified DNA base methylcytosine to 5-hydroxymethylcytosine.
Mutations in this gene were first identified in myeloid neoplasms with deletion or uniparental disomy at 4q24. TET2 may also be a candidate for active DNA demethylation, the catalytic removal of the methyl group added to the fifth carbon on the cytosine base.
Somatic TET2 mutations are frequently observed in myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN), MDS/MPN overlap syndromes including chronic myelomonocytic leukaemia (CMML), acute myeloid leukaemias (AML) and secondary AML (sAML).
TET2 mutations have prognostic value in cytogenetically normal acute myeloid leukemia (CN-AML). "Nonsense" and "frameshift" mutations in this gene are associated with poor outcome on standard therapies in this otherwise favorable-risk patient subset.
In computing, a channel is a model for interprocess communication and synchronization via message passing. A message may be sent over a channel, and another process or thread is able to receive messages sent over a channel it has a reference to, as a stream. Different implementations of channels may be buffered or not, and either synchronous or asynchronous.
Channels are fundamental to the process calculus approach to concurrency, and originated in communicating sequential processes (CSP), a formal model for concurrency, and has been used in many derived languages, such as occam, and Limbo programming language (via Newsqueak and the Alef programming language). They are also used in the C programming language threading library libthread, and in Plan 9 from Bell Labs, which uses libthread, as well as in Stackless Python and the Go programming language.
Channels modeled after the CSP model are inherently synchronous: a process waiting to receive an object from a channel will block until the object is sent. This is also called rendezvous behaviour. Typical supported operations are presented below using the example of the libthread channel API.
A price channel is a pair of parallel trend lines that form a chart pattern for a stock or commodity. Channels may be horizontal, ascending or descending. When prices pass through and stay through a trendline representing support or resistance, the trend is said to be broken and there is a "breakout".
