Sơn Trà is an urban district (quận) of Da Nang in the South Central Coast region of Vietnam. As of 2003 the district had a population of 112,196. The district covers an area of 60km². The district is bounded by ocean to the north and east, the Han River to the west, and Ngu Hanh Son District to the south. Son Tra Mountain occupies a large portion of the district.
With over 12 years of contributions to biodiversity conservation, GreenViet, is known as an organisation closely associated with the conservation programme for the red-shanked douc langur on the Sơn Trà Peninsula.
The project is one of the largest in the city, promising a significant facelift landmark in the north of the Sơn Trà peninsula and marking a new stage in the city’s positive growth for the next decades.
