Ventura station
Ventura is a passenger rail station in downtown Ventura, California. The station is served by Amtrak's Pacific Surfliner from San Luis Obispo to San Diego. Ten Pacific Surfliner trains serve the station daily. Of the 73 California stations served by Amtrak, Ventura was the 33rd-busiest in FY2010, boarding or detraining an average of approximately 125 passengers daily. The single platform is located on the south of the tracks with a view of the Santa Barbara Channel and the Channel Islands. The Ventura Freeway (Hwy 101) is parallel with and on the north side of tracks.
The Metrolink Ventura County Line terminus is in Montalvo at the East Ventura Metrolink Station since commuters traveling towards Los Angeles are better served by that station and overnight storage of trains in the downtown was impractical. Special service trains may come to this station such as service to the Ventura County Fair, in season.

Ventura (Japanese guitars)
Ventura was a brand of stringed instruments imported from Japan by C. Bruno and Company during the 1960s and 1970s. C. Bruno was bought by Kaman (Ovation) in the early 1980s, after which the brand disappeared. Many of the guitars built during this time frame were known as lawsuit guitars due to the tendency of imported guitars to mimic the well-known American brands such as Martin and Gibson. Some of the Ventura guitars were knock-offs of the Martin line, such as the Ventura V-35 appearing similar to the Martin D-35.
The Ventura line included guitars (classical, western, folk, concert, electric, electro-acoustic), banjos, mandolins, and bass guitars.

Kaman Industries (parent company of Ovation) actually acquired C Bruno & Son in 1971. Although there isn't much in the way of records from this period, it is believed that Kaman contracted with manufacturers such as "Matsumoku" (parent company of brands such as Aria) from '71 until the brand was discontinued in 1982. There is also evidence that C. Bruno contracted with other companies before the '71 Kaman acquisition such as "Kasuga" and others.
MV Ventura
MV Ventura is a Grand-class cruise ship of the P&O Cruises fleet. The ship was built by Fincantieri at their shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy. At 116,017 tonnes and 291.4 m (956 ft), Ventura is the second largest of eight ships currently in service with P&O Cruises. She is the sister ship of MS Azura. She officially entered service with the company in April 2008 and was named by Helen Mirren.Ventura underwent a refit at the Blohm & Voss shipyard in Hamburg, Germany, during March and April 2013, and re-entered service on 7 April 2013 with a voyage to Spain and Portugal.
Overview
MS Ventura is owned by Carnival UK and operated by P&O Cruises. The ship entered service in April 2008, and is one of the largest cruise ships built for the British market, at 116,017 tonnes. Ventura can accommodate 3,192 passengers, and has 1,550 cabins, of which about 60% possess private balconies. It has fourteen public decks, eight restaurants, six boutiques, five pools and three show lounges, including the largest theatre on a British ship. Passengers are able to walk to the bow, which is not possible on any other P&O ship except Azura.

Survivor is the sixth studio album by Canadian country music artist George Fox. It was released by Warner Music Canada on May 19, 1998. The album includes the Top 10 single "I'm Gone."

Survivor (2001 video game)
Survivor is a 2001 video game for the PC, based on the American version of the TV series Survivor. Developed by Magic Lantern, it was published by Atari on November 12, 2001. It allows players to play as any of the original Pulau Tiga or Australian Outback cast members. The game also includes a character creation system for making custom characters.
Gameplay
Gameplay consists of choosing survivors' skills (fishing, cooking, etc.), forming alliances, developing relationships with other tribe members, and voting off competitors at tribal council.
Reception
The game was received very poorly by critics. It has a Metacritic score of 26% based on 7 critic reviews.
GameSpot gave the game a 'Terrible' score of 2.0 out of 10, saying "If you're harboring even a tiny urge to buy this game, please listen very carefully to this advice: Don't do it." Likewise, IGN gave the game a 'Terrible' 2.4 out of 10, stating "It is horribly boring and repetitive. The graphics are weak and even the greatest survivor fan would break the CD in two after playing it for 20 minutes." The game was the recipient of Game Revolution's lowest score of all time, an F-. An 'interactive review' was created specially for the game, and features interactive comments like "The Survival periods are about as much fun as" followed by a drop-down menu, "watching paint dry/throbbing hemorrhoids/staring at air/being buried alive."
Christina Crawford
Christina Crawford (born June 11, 1939) is an American writer and actress, best known as the author of Mommie Dearest, an autobiographical account of alleged child abuse by her adoptive mother, famous Hollywood actress Joan Crawford. She is also known for small roles in various television and film projects, such as Joan Borman Kane in the soap opera The Secret Storm and Monica George in the Elvis Presley vehicle Wild in the Country.
Early life and education
Crawford was born in Los Angeles, California, in 1939 to unmarried teen parents.
According to Christina Crawford's personal interview with Larry King, her father supposedly in the Navy, was married to another woman while her mother was unmarried. Christina Crawford was adopted from a baby broker in the state of Nevada because Joan Crawford was formerly denied an adoption by Social Services for being an unfit candidate in California in 1940. Christina Crawford maintains that Joan Crawford did not have a positive relationship with her own mother or with her brother, which contributed to Social Services' conclusion, as well as her multiple divorces. Subsequent documentation showed that the adoption was handled by Georgia Tann through Tann's infamous Tennessee Children's Home Society. Christina was one of five children adopted by Joan Crawford.
