Sun Yizhou (simplified Chinese: 孙艺洲; traditional Chinese: 孫藝洲; pinyin: Sūn Yìzhōu; born 23 October 1983) is a Chinese actor. He is also known as Sean Sun.
Sun is known for playing Lü Ziqiao in the romantic comedy television series iPartment, which enjoyed the highest ratings in China when it was broadcast.
Sun was born in Chengdu, Sichuan on October 23, 1983. He graduated from Shanghai Theatre Academy, majoring in acting.
During 2006 and 2008, Sun appeared in several television series, such as Youth and Future, Lan Xin, The Sword and the Chess of Death and No.36 Beach Bar.
In 2009, Sun starred in a romantic comedy television series IPartment, alongside Eric Wang, Deng Jiajia, Michael Chen, Loura Lou, Kimi Li, Jean Lee and Vanessa Zhao, the series was one of the most watched ones in mainland China in that year. Sun also filmed in a number of successful sequels to IPartment.
In 2010, Sun played Jia Yun and his wife Cao Xiaowen acted Qing Wen in the historical television series The Biography of Lin Daiyu, which adapted from Cao Xueqin's classical novel Dream of the Red Chamber.
Yizhou (Chinese: 宜州; pinyin: Yízhōu), formerly Yishan County (宜山县), is a county-level city under the administration of Hechi City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, People's Republic of China.
Yizhou is located in the northwest of Guangxi on the Long River in an area noted for its magificant karst formations. The limestone karst formations dot the city and surrounding country and beautiful rivers cut through the landscape. The city of Yizhou has several hundred thousand inhabitants. The surrounding country side is home to a number of ethnic Zhuang villages. The economy is centered on sugar production. Located near Yizhou is a British-Chinese jointly run sugar processing plant. The country side surrounding Yizhou is similar in appearance to the tourist Mecca Yangshuo, located in the east of Guangxi. While Yizhou has a convenient tourist infrastructure, foreign tourists are sparse.
Perhaps the most famous invidivual in the history of Yizhou is the legendary Song Dynasty singer Liu Sanjie 刘三姐, renowned for her beautiful singing voice. The people of Yizhou believe that Liu was born there and a statue of her is in the city center.
