Sun..!

Sun..! was the debut release from the British band Silver Sun. At the time of release Sun was also the name of the band, though after finding out there was a German band with the same name the band were forced to change their name.

Sun

The Sun (in Greek: Helios, in Latin: Sol) is the star at the center of the Solar System and is by far the most important source of energy for life on Earth. It is a nearly perfect spherical ball of hot plasma, with internal convective motion that generates a magnetic field via a dynamo process. Its diameter is about 109 times that of Earth, and it has a mass about 330,000 times that of Earth, accounting for about 99.86% of the total mass of the Solar System.About three quarters of the Sun's mass consists of hydrogen; the rest is mostly helium, with much smaller quantities of heavier elements, including oxygen, carbon, neon and iron.

The Sun is a G-type main-sequence star (G2V) based on spectral class and it is informally referred to as a yellow dwarf. It formed approximately 4.567 billion years ago from the gravitational collapse of matter within a region of a large molecular cloud. Most of this matter gathered in the center, whereas the rest flattened into an orbiting disk that became the Solar System. The central mass became increasingly hot and dense, eventually initiating nuclear fusion in its core. It is thought that almost all stars form by this process.

Sun (Thomas Bergersen album)

Sun is the second stand-alone production album created by Thomas J. Bergersen from Two Steps from Hell, released on September 30, 2014. The release contains 16 tracks, featuring vocal performances by Merethe Soltvedt, Molly Conole and other vocalists. The album cover and artwork are designed by Bergersen himself. The album was announced for pre-order on September 9 across iTunes, Amazon, and CD Baby, with the tracks "Empire of Angels," "Final Frontier," and "Starchild" made available on iTunes prior to the full release. In addition, a signed limited deluxe edition CD version has been scheduled for somewhere in 2015, set to include additional music, notes on each track written by Thomas, and a large-size poster featuring his artwork.

Meltdown (Image Comics)

Meltdown is a two-part comic book mini-series published in December 2006 (issue 1) and January 2007 (issue 2) by Image Comics. Written by David Schwartz and illustrated by Sean Wang.

Plot

Meltdown tells the story of Caliente, aka The Flare, a superhero with flame based powers that are killing him. He's only got 7 days left to put his life in order, and to make amends for all of his regrets. The story largely consists of flashbacks that show Caliente's trials and tribulations leading to his final days.

The series was collected into a trade paperback entitled "MELTDOWN: The Definitive Collection", which also featured 52 pages of new material.

Meltdown (Icehouse album)

Meltdown is a remix album by Australian rock synthpop band, Icehouse with tracks remixed by Australian electronic musicians and bands including Infusion, sonicanimation and beXta. It was released in October 2002 within Australia by dIVA Records (Icehouse founder Iva Davies' own label) under Warner Music Australia. The single "Lay Your Hands on Me" (Icehouse Vs. Speed Of Light) peaked at #85 on the Australian singles chart. The album was re-released, in 2004 by Rock Up label / Star Records, as Street Cafe or more fully Street Cafe and Other Remixed Hits with a different track order and different cover art (see infobox below right).

CSI: Miami (season 8)

The eighth season of CSI: Miami premiered on CBS on September 21, 2009 and ended May 24, 2010. The series stars David Caruso and Emily Procter.

Description

It's all change during the eighth season of CSI: Miami as the team face the loss of one of their own and flash back to 1997. Delko departs joining the States Attorneys Office as an investigator, forcing him to return to the lab undercover, Calleigh finds herself facing death once again, as the spirit of a victim helps her solve his own homicide, Horatio's ex-girlfriend is killed in an explosion, whilst the crime lab comes under siege from hostage takers. It's ultimately high-tech crime that cripples the team this season, however, as they are methodically taken down by a serial killer they are hunting, with one CSI paying the ultimate price.
