Summer Love (Justin Timberlake song)

"Summer Love" is a song recorded by American singer-songwriter Justin Timberlake for his second studio album, FutureSex/LoveSounds (2006). It was written and produced by Timberlake, Tim "Timbaland" Mosley and Nate "Danja" Hills. "Summer Love" is a dance-pop and pop song about "wanting to fall in love with the lusty seasonal lover". Its instrumentation consists of keyboards, drums, guitars, pianos, and handclaps.

"Summer Love" received generally positive acclaim from music critics; with some comparing it to his work with NSYNC. "Summer Love" reached number six on the Billboard Hot 100 and number one on the Billboard Pop Songs chart. It was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for selling over one million units. The song also peaked at the top ten in Belgium and Canada. "Summer Love" was included in the set list of Timberlake's second worldwide tour FutureSex/LoveShow in 2007.

Production and release

When composing songs for his second studio album FutureSex/LoveSounds, Timberlake went to former Justified collaborator Timbaland's studio in Virginia Beach, Virginia to begin sessions for his second album. However, not one of them had an idea of what the album would be–no plan for it and even a title. "Summer Love/Set the Mood (Prelude)" was written and produced by Timo "Timbaland" Mosley, Nate "Danja" Hills and Timberlake himself. The song was recorded by Jimmy Douglas, while its mixing was done by Douglas together with Timbaland. The keyboards were provided by Timberlake, Timbaland and Danja; the latter also played the drums in the single.

Summer Love (1958 film)

Summer Love is a 1958 comedy film directed by Charles F. Haas, written by William Raynor, starring John Saxon, Jill St. John, Judi Meredith and Molly Bee. It is rated 6.4/10 on the IMDb. It is a sequel to the 1956 film Rock, Pretty Baby.

Plot

Jimmy Daley and his band mates, Mike and Ox, land a performing date in Lake Tahoe, California. His father, a doctor, gives his approval, although he is concerned about Jimmy neglecting his education for music. Joan Wright, his girlfriend, is sorry to see Jimmy leave, but he gives her a bus ticket and invites her to come visit.

To their surprise, Jimmy and Mike discover that Ox has booked the band at a summer camp where the musicians are also expected to work. The band is joined on stage by Alice, a very good singer, while Mike cheers up even more at the sight of beautiful girls in the audience, in particular Erica Landis, whose many admirers accompany her.

Jimmy's in for more surprises. His parents show up, on vacation, bringing along kid sister Twinkie, who's just 14 but eager to begin meeting boys. Joan also arrives, in time to jealously see Erica making a play for Jimmy. Equally envious is Mike, who is head over heels in love with Erica.

Moses

Moses (/ˈmzɪz, -zɪs/;Hebrew: מֹשֶׁה, Modern Moshe Tiberian Mōšéh ISO 259-3 Moše; Syriac: ܡܘܫܐ Moushe; Arabic: موسى Mūsā; Greek: Mωϋσῆς Mōÿsēs in both the Septuagint and the New Testament) is a prophet in Abrahamic religions. According to the Hebrew Bible, he was a former Egyptian prince who later in life became a religious leader and lawgiver, to whom the authorship of the Torah is traditionally attributed. The historical consensus is that Moses is not an historical figure. Also called Moshe Rabbenu in Hebrew (מֹשֶׁה רַבֵּנוּ, lit. "Moses our Teacher"), he is the most important prophet in Judaism. He is also an important prophet in Christianity, Islam, Baha'ism as well as a number of other faiths.

According to the Book of Exodus, Moses was born in a time when his people, the Israelites, an enslaved minority, were increasing in numbers and the Egyptian Pharaoh was worried that they might ally with Egypt's enemies. Moses' Hebrew mother, Jochebed, secretly hid him when the Pharaoh ordered all newborn Hebrew boys to be killed in order to reduce the population of the Israelites. Through the Pharaoh's daughter (identified as Queen Bithia in the Midrash), the child was adopted as a foundling from the Nile river and grew up with the Egyptian royal family. After killing an Egyptian slavemaster (because the slavemaster was smiting a Hebrew), Moses fled across the Red Sea to Midian, where he encountered the God of Israel speaking to him from within a "burning bush which was not consumed by the fire" on Mount Horeb (which he regarded as the Mountain of God).

Moses (given name)

Moses or Moshe is a male given name, after the biblical figure Moses.

According to the Torah, the name "Moses" comes from the Hebrew verb, meaning "to pull/draw out" [of water], and the infant Moses was given this name by Pharaoh's daughter after rescuing him from the Nile (Exodus 2:10). Some scholars have suggested that the name was derived from the Egyptian word for "son" rather than from Hebrew.

    Woh, eh, oh, weh, oh
    It's only summer love
    Woh, eh, oh, weh, oh
    Summer love
    Baby, don't go crazy
I know you're gonna miss me
    But it's only summer love
    Baby, we're together
    It cannot last forever
    'Cause it's only summer love
So tell me why you start to cry
When I take you to the airport
And I kiss you sweet goodbye
You've got to know I told you so
    This summer loving feeling
Will break your heart and soul
    Woh, eh, oh, weh, oh
    It's only summer love
    Woh, eh, oh, weh, oh
    Summer love

Will break your heart and soul
    Don't wanna hear your lies
You've got to show me paradise
    Dancing on the beach
    And having fun
When the sun is burning hot
