Suchań
Suchań [ˈsuxaɲ] (German: Zachan) is a town in Stargard County, West Pomeranian Voivodeship, Poland. Its recorded population is 1,443 (2004).
Suchań is positioned on the Krebs Brook, a tributary of the Ina which in turn feeds into the River Oder. The Main road (DK 10) connecting Stettin and Bydgoszcz passes through the town. Stargard Szczeciński is the next substantial town, located along this road 21 km (13.05 mi) (13 miles) to the west.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany. After World War II the region was placed under Polish administration and ethnically cleansed according to the post-war Potsdam Agreement. Suchá (Jihlava District)
Suchá (Czech pronunciation: [ˈsuxaː]) is a village and municipality (obec) in Jihlava District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 11.48 square kilometres (4.43 sq mi), and has a population of 252 (as at 28 August 2006).
Suchá lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) south of Jihlava and 120 km (75 mi) south-east of Prague.
