Remix is a Danish 2008 feature film directed by Martin Hagbjer starring Micky Skeel Hansen as a 16-year-old pop singer Ruben. Remix is inspired by the true story of Danish pop idol Jon Gade Nørgaard known by the mononym Jon. Jon was also the subject of the documentary feature film Solo released in 2007. The film was released on January 25, 2008.
Ruben (played by Micky Skeel Hansen), an aspiring young man is offered a record contract by the music executive Tanya (portrayed by Camilla Bendix). The film, which co-stars Jakob Cedergren, Sofie Lassen-Kahlke, Henrik Prip and Anette Støvelbæk, follows Ruben's fall from grace in the hands of the music industry.
Bossanova is the third studio album by the American rock band Pixies. It was released in August 13, 1990 on the English independent record label 4AD in the United Kingdom and by Elektra Records in the United States. All of Bossanova's original material was written by the band's frontman Black Francis; this was a first for a Pixies album, but he has written all of their songs since. The album's sound, inspired by surf rock and space rock, complements its lyrical focus on outer space, which references subjects such as aliens and unidentified flying objects.
Because of 4AD's independent status, major label Elektra Records handled distribution in the United States; Bossanova reached number 70 on the Billboard 200. The album peaked at number three in the UK Albums Chart. Two singles were released from Bossanova, "Velouria" and "Dig for Fire"; both charted on the US Modern Rock Tracks chart, at #4 and #11, respectively.
After Pixies finished touring obligations for their second album Doolittle (1989) in January 1990, band members Black Francis, Joey Santiago, and David Lovering moved from Boston to Los Angeles. Bassist Kim Deal meanwhile stayed in the UK to record the first Breeders album during January with producer Steve Albini. Deal ultimately decided to travel out to Los Angeles with the rest of the group. Lovering stated that he, Santiago, and Black Francis moved to Los Angeles because that's where they intended to record. The three band members lived in the Oakwood apartments, along with comic Garrett Morris and members of the band White Lion. Producer Gil Norton also moved into the apartment complex.

Suavemente is the debut solo album by Puerto Rican merenguero Elvis Crespo, literally meaning "smoothly" or "softly" in Spanish. The album reached Number 1 on Billboard's "National Latin top 40" chart in 1998. The album received a Grammy Award nomination for Best Tropical Latin Performance and was awarded "Tropical Album of the Year" at the 1999 Premio Lo Nuestro awards.
"Suavemente" (English: Smoothly) is a song recorded and composed by Puerto Rican-American Elvis Crespo on his first solo album, Suavemente, which followed his departure from Grupo Manía. Released as the lead single, Suavemente reached #1 on the Billboard Hot Latin Tracks on May 16, 1998 and remained atop the chart for six weeks. Crespo re-recorded it with Spanglish lyrics. The song also hit the Billboard Hot 100 as well as received a Premios Lo Nuestro award and two Latin Billboard Music Awards the following year. "Suavemente" was the tenth best-performing Latin single of 1998. The song has been covered by several artists some of who also charted.
Elvis Crespo started his singing career as a backup vocalist for merengue singers Willie Berrios, Lenny Perez, and Toño Rosario. In 1995, he joined Puerto-Rican merengue band, Grupo Manía as lead vocalist. He composed "Linda Eh'" for the group which reached number-eight on Hot Latin Tracks in 1996. In 1997, he left the band to pursue a solo career and recorded his first album, Suavemente, on the Sony Discos label. Crespo credited his son for the success of the song stating that his son spent the entire afternoon singing it and told his father that the song would be a hit. The Spanglish version was featured in the 1998 film, Dance with Me. Two music videos were made: the original version with various background montages, the other one a remix with Spanglish lyrics. In 2008, the song served as the intro and outro for the live album, Elvis Crespo Lives: Live at Las Vegas and the title reappeared in the title for his tenth anniversary compilation album, Suavemente... Los Éxitos.
Yeah yeah
Uh, Aha
(Verse)
I miss to give, I miss to love
But you broke up promises
Just like you broke my trust
Never again, I won't hurt again
I promised myself never to love another man, another man
(Pre-Chorus)
You promised you love me, love me, love me
You promised you'll stay, you'll stay
But I don't feel the same
(Chorus)
You're the one to blame
Why I act this way
You're the one to blame
Why I think this way
You're the one to blame
Blame, blame, blame
You're the one to blame
Blame, blame, blame
(Verse)
Who would've tought, I'd end up this way
Stepping on hearts and throwing love away
But you can't hate the player you gotta hate the game
And I know it hurts to see the monster that you made
That you made
(Pre-Chorus)
You promised you love me, love me, love me
You promised you'll stay, you'll stay
But I don't feel the same
(Chorus)
You're the one to blame
Why I act this way
You're the one to blame
Why I think this way
You're the one to blame
Blame, blame, blame
You're the one to blame
Blame, blame, blame
(Verse)
Our face cold, with great shoulders by the waist I hold her
Her only mistake is I caught her where I can take over
She cooks stake I'm not a carnivore it'd be kind of raw
But the wine is fine, I'm mature and be times that's all woman
Have better talks my teenage daughter
Then we have and you a grown woman
So I be vague when I answer questions
About my life or hustlin', I know you used to first dates
But dudes be all the fun and had this, they want that
Did time and fucked that, beat this they know people
Connections and all that,
You tied up but let's try intellectual higher subject
Like metaphysics or the science of it
That is corny also, let's talk about you being my lawful
But nah, not just yet, maybe later we just met
But for now, I need to keep you around
'Cause this the most perfect all I found in a while
(Chorus)
You're the one to blame
Why I act this way
You're the one to blame
Why I think this way
You're the one to blame
Blame, blame, blame
You're the one to blame
Blame, blame, blame
Blame, blame, blame,
Blame, blame, blame
