Taggart

Taggart was a Scottish detective television programme, created by Glenn Chandler, who wrote many of the episodes, and made by STV Productions for the ITV network. The series revolved around a group of detectives, initially in the Maryhill CID of Strathclyde Police, though various storylines were set in other parts of Greater Glasgow and in other areas of Scotland. The team operated out of the fictional John Street police station.

Taggart was one of the UK's longest-running television dramas and the longest-running police drama after the cancellation of The Bill.

Mark McManus, who played the title character Jim Taggart, died in 1994; however, the series continued under the same name.

The show's 100th story was aired on the ITV network on Christmas Eve 2009. In May 2011 the ITV network decided to axe Taggart from the network after 28 years.

The series theme music is "No Mean City" sung by Maggie Bell.

History

Killer (Kiss song)

"Killer" is a song by the American hard rock band Kiss. Featured on their 1982 album, Creatures of the Night, the song was released as an A-side single in the United Kingdom. Although "I Love It Loud" was an A-side single in the United States, it would be relegated to the B-side in the UK. It was the first song Vinnie Vincent and Gene Simmons wrote together after the two had met. In addition to not being able to chart at all, Kiss has never performed the song live and it has only been released as a single and on all issues of the Creatures of the Night album (the song was switched places with "Saint and Sinner" on the 1985 reissue).

In 2008, the song was featured on the Vinnie Vincent tribute album KISS MY ANKH: A Tribute to Vinnie Vincent, covered by DoubleVirgo.

Killer is the seventh studio album by rapper Tech N9ne.Killer's album cover pays homage to Michael Jackson’s iconic "Thriller" album cover. With Killer, Tech N9ne has SoundScanned his 1 millionth album independently.

This album was the first album Tech N9ne recorded as a double disc release, containing 32 tracks. (Everready (The Religion) contained two discs, however the second disc was marketed as a bonus disc and not a part of the album itself.) Guests who were featured on the album include Paul Wall, Scarface, Shawnna, Brother J of X-Clan, Mistah F.A.B., Kottonmouth Kings, Hed PE, Krizz Kaliko, Kutt Calhoun, Skatterman & Snug Brim, BG Bulletwound, Liquid Assassin of Grave Plott, and Ice Cube. While Brotha Lynch Hung was confirmed to be a guest on the album early on, he would be absent from the album in the end. It was later revealed that Brotha Lynch Hung was supposed to be on Psycho Bitch II, but he would have been unable to get his verse back to Tech in time, thus he did not appear. He was instead replaced by Grave Plott's Liquid Assassin.

Stronger (Ai song)

"Stronger" (stylized as "STRONGER") is a 2010 song by Japanese R&B singer Ai, featuring fellow R&B singer Miliyah Kato, released on October 27, 2010. The single was her fourth single released in 2010 for her 10th anniversary, and the leading single from her 8th studio album, The Last Ai. The B-side of the single was a collaboration with American rapper Snoop Dogg.

Composition and inspiration

As a part of Ai's 10th anniversary, she had been collaborating with many artists, such as "Fake" featuring Namie Amuro, "Still..." feat. AK-69 and "Wavin' Flag (Coca Cola Celebration Mix) (Sekai ni Hitotsu no Hata)" with K'naan. When the collaboration single offer was presented to Miliyah Kato, who is good friends with Ai, her reaction was "Finally! I feel so honoured. It's like a dream I've been imagining has become real." The song was written by Ai and Kato together, with both deciding such things as the lyrics, music, and which parts to sing.

The song is a contemporary R&B dance pop song. The lyrics are a message song, instructing the listener to survive through "any kind of future," and talks about the limits of a person. In news articles, the song is described as being about "The strength to keep going forward, even when hurt."

Stronger (Kelly Clarkson album)

Stronger is the fifth studio album by American singer Kelly Clarkson. The album was released on October 21, 2011, in Australia and October 24, 2011, in the United States and the United Kingdom by RCA Records. The thirteen-song track-list (seventeen on the deluxe edition) features Clarkson collaborating with new producers Greg Kurstin, Steve Jordan, Rodney Jerkins, Toby Gad, Brian Kennedy and Ester Dean, as well as recording with Howard Benson whom she collaborated with on her previous album, All I Ever Wanted (2009). Wanting to stray away sonically from her previous albums, Clarkson's main objective was to record her vocal performances as it is heard in her live sets, and used as little auto-tune processing as possible. The album also marked the first release by Clarkson that did not cause a conflict with RCA; her previous records, most notably My December, were released amidst conflict and controversy.

Clarkson began writing new material for the album in November 2009 while touring and finished recording in February 2011. For the recording sessions, Clarkson drew inspiration from Tina Turner, Prince, Radiohead, and Sheryl Crow among others. Clarkson also mixed R&B, country, urban, dance-pop and soul with her established pop rock character to develop a more diverse pop music material. The album's lyrical content mainly explores themes about heartbreak, vengeance, forgiveness and empowerment using metaphors about Clarkson's relationships around people.

Stronger (Dead by April album)

Stronger is the first compilation by Swedish alternative metal band Dead by April. It was released on January 24, 2011. The album features some b-sides, acoustic versions, remixes, cover songs as well as an unreleased demo version of the song "More Than Yesterday" as well as two unreleased re-recorded acoustic versions. This is the first release by the band to feature Zandro Santiago as lead vocalist.
