Let's Go Crazy

"Let's Go Crazy" is a 1984 song by Prince and The Revolution, from the album Purple Rain. It was the opening track on both the album and the film Purple Rain. "Let's Go Crazy" is one of Prince's most popular songs, and is almost always a staple for concert performances, often segueing into other hits. When released as a single, the song became Prince's second number-one hit on the Billboard Hot 100, and also topped the two component charts, the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Hot Dance Club Play charts, as well as becoming a UK Top 10 hit. The B-side was the lyrically controversial "Erotic City". In the UK, the song was released as a double A-side with "Take Me with U".

Common to much of Prince's writing the song is thought to be exhortation to follow Christian ethics, with the "De-elevator" of the lyrics being a metaphor for the Devil.

The extended "Special Dance Mix" of the song was performed in a slightly edited version in the film Purple Rain. It contains a longer instrumental section in the middle, including a solo on an apparently out-of-tune piano and some muddled lyrics, repeating the track's introduction.

Go Crazy! is the fourth Korean studio album (seventh overall) by South Korean boy band 2PM. The album was released in both physical and digital format on September 15, 2014 by JYP Entertainment.

Background

During the filming for the music of the groups upcoming comeback a fire broke out on the set of the music video, authorities stated after the fire had been handled that the fire was relatively small and had been controlled by the time the fire team arrived, and apparently started when a spark from some fireworks which were being used in the music video landed on a sponge. All the members and staff present at the time were confirmed to be unharmed. The comeback that was to be in April was postponed by JYP Entertainment and 2PM due to their individual activities. A JYP Entertainment rep told Newsen on the 14th that "2PM's comeback has been delayed for the time being. It will be in the latter-half of this year but the exact date has not been decided yet." On August 28, Taecyeon, through his personal Twitter, released a photo of Nichkhun and Wooyoung. This was followed by Jun. K who released a photo of Taecyon and Chansung on his Twitter. Next Wooyoung released a photo of Jun.K and Junho. These three photos hinted that their comeback was near. Next, insiders revealed that their comeback would be on September 15.

"Go Crazy" is a song by rapper Young Jeezy released as the third single from his debut album Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101. It was written by Young Jeezy, and was produced by Don Cannon. The CD single was released on August 30. The song samples the song "(Man, Oh Man) I Want To Go Back" by Curtis Mayfield.

Another remix of the song also features Fat Joe in addition to Jeezy and Jay-Z.
