Octagrammic prism

In geometry, the octagrammic prism is one of an infinite set of nonconvex prisms formed by square sides and two regular star polygon caps, in this case two octagrams.

Stop (Pink Floyd song)

"Stop" is a song from the 1979 Pink Floyd album, The Wall. It was written by Roger Waters.

Plot

Pink is tired of his life as a fascist dictator and the hallucination ends. Also tired of 'The Wall', he accordingly devolves into his own mind and puts himself on trial.

Film version

After "Waiting for the Worms", Pink literally calls for a stop, where we find him sitting at the bottom of a bathroom stall. He seems to be reading the lyrics from a sheet of paper where a few of the lines come from, at the time, unreleased material written by Waters. The line "Do you remember me / How we used to be / Do you think we should be closer?", comes from "Your Possible Pasts". Other lines come from "5:11AM (The Moment of Clarity)"). As Pink finishes the lyrics to "Stop", the security guard seen in the segment for "Young Lust" slowly pushes open the stall door, which leads to the animated intro of "The Trial".

List of Dandy comic strips

Over the years The Dandy has had many different strips ranging from comic strips to adventure strips to prose stories. However eventually the Dandy changed from having all these different types of strips to having only comic stips. Prose stories were the first to go being phased out in the 1950s. Adventure Strips were phased out in the 1980s.

Boo (dog)

Boo is a Pomeranian that became an Internet sensation. Known for his short haircut, he has a popular Facebook page and is the subject of four photo books. As of January 2015, Boo has over 17 million Likes on Facebook.

Background About Boo

Boo the dog belongs to a San Francisco-based Facebook employee who created a Facebook page for the dog with a statement "My name is Boo. I am a dog. Life is good." He became popular in October 2010 after singer Ke$ha sent a tweet that she had a new boyfriend, linking to the page.

Chronicle Books, noticing that Boo had 5 million Facebook fans at the time, approached the owner to write a picture book. In August 2011, Boo: The Life of the World's Cutest Dog, written by his owner under pen name J.H. Lee, was published. The book was eventually published in ten languages. A second book followed, Boo: Little Dog in the Big City, as well as a calendar and plans for a cut-out book and additional children's books. He also has his own stuffed animal for kids. His merchandise includes a Gund stuffed animal.
