Stefan Diez (born 1971 in Freising) is a German designer and studio owner, who studied Industrial Design at the State Academy of Art and Design Stuttgart. He owns a design studio, and develops furniture, tableware, bags and exhibition designs.

Having spent a year working in Mumbai and Poona, India, Diez returned to Germany in 1996 to attend University. Before founding his own design studio in January 2003, Diez worked for Richard Sapper and then Konstantin Grcic.[1]

Stefan Diez's products have received awards including the Design Report Award (2002), the interior innovation award of the 2004 imm Cologne International Furniture Fair, the Silver Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany in 2006 and the Materialica Design & Technology Award.
