Steal This Album! is the third studio album by Armenian American rock band System of a Down, released on November 26, 2002, on American Recordings. The album was produced by Rick Rubin and Daron Malakian, and reached #15 in the Billboard Top 200.
In early 2002, medium-quality MP3s of the album were released on the internet under the name Toxicity II, a clear reference to the band's previous, multi-platinum record, Toxicity. The band issued a statement expressing disappointment in the fact that fans were hearing material that was unfinished, and worked to release a completed, better quality version of the album, which became what is now known as Steal This Album!. Many of the tracks on Toxicity II are demo versions of the songs, featuring different arrangements, lyrics, and vocal melodies than their completed counterparts. Notably, there is a lack of vocals by Daron Malakian. Two songs on Toxicity II, "Virginity" (also known as "Cherry" or "Virgin Tea") and "Outer Space" (also known as "Fortress"), are absent from the final version of the album. Additionally, four songs not found on Toxicity II, "Fuck the System," "Ego Brain," "Roulette," and "Innervision" appeared on the final version of Steal This Album!, making the final version considerably different from the Toxicity II version.
Steal This Album is the third studio album by Oakland hip hop duo The Coup, released four years after their second album Genocide & Juice. It is a homage to 1960s-1980s radical Abbie Hoffman's Steal This Book. The album became the group's most critically successful release, and is widely considered to be their best album.
Steal This Album features the group's signature sound, funky live-instrumentation production and socially conscious, political lyrics delivered in a humorous, satirical manner. It features the single "Me & Jesus the Pimp in a '79 Granada Last Night", a seven+ minute storytelling track.
The album was re-released in 2002 as Steal This Double Album, which featured two bonus tracks: "What the Po-Po's Hate" and "Swervin'", and a bonus disc featuring over 70 minutes of live performance footage.
Steal This is an EP by The Explosion. It was released in 2000 on Revelation Records. Its title is a sarcastic jab at the legal troubles resulting in the EP's recording.
The Explosion's bassist, Damian Genuardi, had played in straight edge hardcore band In My Eyes before founding The Explosion in 1998. In My Eyes were signed to Revelation. When Revelation found out about The Explosion's success on Jade Tree Records, they threatened to sue Genaurdi if he was credited on any of The Explosion's records. They believed that The Explosion's success with Jade Tree should belong to them. The Explosion settled the dispute by writing this EP while on the road. As a result of its circumstances, it is not considered The Explosion's best work.
A book called Steal This Book was written by Abbie Hoffman in 1971.

Wake up
Seven A.M., morning, came to take us away
Little men, big guns, pointed at our heads
Seven A.M., morning, came to take us away
Little men, big guns, pointed at our heads
At our, at our heads
Your prospect of living is gone
You ran the light at dawn
Protectors on your back
The lights are on their track
You must now face authority
You're nothing like me
You must now face authority
You're nothing like me
Put your hands up, get out of the car
Put your hands up, get out of the car
Put your hands up, get out of the car
Fuck you pig
Fuck you pig
Fuck you pig
Fuck you pig
Put your hands up, get out of the car
