The third season of the American television series Haven premiered September 21, 2012 and consisted a total of 13 episodes. The show stars Emily Rose, Lucas Bryant and Eric Balfour.

Production

On October 12, 2011, Syfy picked up Haven for a thirteen-episode third season expected to air in 2012, with production beginning on April 18. As the last two seasons ended with a cliffhanger, this season will pick up where season two left off.

List of Transformers: Cybertron episodes

The following is a list of episodes in the Transformers series, Transformers: Cybertron. It chronicles the adventures of the Autobots, as they battle the Decepticons and attempt to claim the four Cyber Planet Keys.

The series uses four pieces of theme music. For the first twenty-seven episodes of the series "Call You - Kimi to Boku no Mirai [The Future of You and I]" by Shinji Kakijima is used for the opening theme and "Itsumo" by Tomoka Issei is used for the ending theme. The remaining episodes use "Ignition!" by CHINO for the opening theme and "Growing Up" by Shinji Kakijima for the Ending theme. In the English dub of the series, all of the original ending themes are removed, with the song "Transformers: Cybertron Theme" by Paul Oakenfold used for both the opening and ending in all episodes.

Haven (graph theory)

In graph theory, a haven is a certain type of function on sets of vertices in an undirected graph. If a haven exists, it can be used by an evader to win a pursuit-evasion game on the graph, by consulting the function at each step of the game to determine a safe set of vertices to move into. Havens were first introduced by Seymour & Thomas (1993) as a tool for characterizing the treewidth of graphs. Their other applications include proving the existence of small separators on minor-closed families of graphs, and characterizing the ends and clique minors of infinite graphs.

Definition

If G is an undirected graph, and X is a set of vertices, then an X-flap is a nonempty connected component of the subgraph of G formed by deleting X. A haven of order k in G is a function β that assigns an X-flap β(X) to every set X of fewer than k vertices. This function must also satisfy additional constraints which are given differently by different authors. The number k is called the order of the haven.

Sound the Alarm (Saves the Day album)

Sound the Alarm is the fifth studio album by the rock band Saves the Day. It was released by Vagrant Records on April 11, 2006.

Composition

Sound the Alarm was named after one of the songs on the album that, according to Conley, "sums up the mood of the record." Conley kicked bassist Eben D'Amico out of the band due to him not being on the "same page creatively" as Conley, David Soloway, and Pete Parada. Manuel Carrero was brought in to fill on bass, Conley had known about Carrero for a while due to the band playing shows with Glassjaw.

This album was welcomed by many as something of a return to the band's classic sound, after the sonic departure of In Reverie in 2003. Sound the Alarm is part one of a three-part concept that Conley described in an interview with Punknews.org.

Recording

The album was recorded at the band's home studio, Electric Lady Bug. It was produced by Steve Evetts who also produced Saves the Day's first two albums, Can't Slow Down and Through Being Cool. All of the album's lyrics were written by Chris Conley.
