Beverly Leech (May 23, 1959 in Paris, Texas) is an American actress who is perhaps best known for her portrayal of Kate Monday on Square One TV's Mathnet.
Beverly was discovered in Texas by a talent scout from Universal Studios. She is married to actor and writer Christian Meoli, most noted for his role as "Boz Bishop" in the series Nash Bridges. Other roles include appearances on science fiction television shows Quantum Leap (episode "Sea Bride", 1990), Babylon 5 (episode "Revelations", 1994) and Diagnosis Murder (episode "Murder on the Hour", 1999).
Kevin Alexander Stea (born October 17, 1969) is an American dancer, choreographer, actor, singer, director and model. He has worked as a dancer and choreographer with a number of high-profile artists, including Madonna and Michael Jackson, and has appeared in several movies and television shows.
Stea was an assistant choreographer and dance captain for Madonna's Blond Ambition Tour in 1990, and subsequently appeared in the 1991 documentary film Madonna: Truth or Dare. In January 1992, along with fellow dancers Oliver Crumes and Gabriel Trupin, Stea filed a lawsuit in the Los Angeles Superior Court against Madonna's production company Boy Toy Inc, Miramax Films and Propaganda Films, alleging fraud and invasion of privacy as a result of the documentary. Because of the international notoriety of Madonna, the suit became a pervasive media topic with Stea discussed in the news and appearing on talk shows such as Maury Povich. After more than two years of litigation, the suit was withdrawn in October 1994 and an undisclosed settlement was reached.
Star Search is an American television show that was produced T.P.E./Rysher Entertainment from 1983 to 1995, hosted by Ed McMahon, and created by Alfred Masini. A relaunch was produced by 2929 Productions from 2003 to 2004. On both versions of the show, contestants competed in several genres of entertainment. The show was originally filmed at the old Earl Carroll Theatre (now known as Nickelodeon on Sunset), at 6230 Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood and later at the Disney Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Florida.
While categories varied slightly from season to season, the ten basic categories during the 1983–1995 version were:
Eight categories are contested per show. Potential contestants audition to be on the show. If selected, they will compete. In each category, two people compete, a champion and a challenger. Usually the challenger performs first, while the champion performs second. In later seasons, the champion performs first.
Star Search (Chinese: 才华横溢出新秀; pinyin: Cai Hua Heng Yi Chu Xing Xiu) was a television show from 1988 to 2010 organised by MediaCorp TV Channel 8 to scout for Chinese language-speaking talent.
Star Search started out as a Singapore local talent show, restricted to residents of Singapore. After the Singapore Broadcasting Corporation discontinued its drama training courses in the early 1990s, Star Search became one of Channel 8's main sources to scout for talent. In 1999, the show expanded to include regions such as Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Guangzhou (China). From 1999 to 2003, the show took the format of a knockout competition where the male and female champions and first runners-up from each country will go to Singapore compete for the overall champion prize in their respective genders.
Back after a four-year hiatus and into its 9th installment, Star Search 2007 marks the return of the mother of talent search programs in Singapore. Many of its "alumni" have gone on to have successful careers in showbiz with MediaCorp and elsewhere.
From March 2003, Star Search 2003 began its 3-nationwide talent search for individuals with star potential in Singapore, Malaysia and China. Auditions have been carried out in each of the 3 countries and training for the shortlisted star wannabes are ongoing. Each of the 3 countries will then select 4 Star Search contestants (2 male, 2 female) to compete at the Grand Finals on June 29 in Singapore.
During the 3-hour power-packed competition, the 12 finalists competed in the areas of star appeal, acting, singing and dancing, and hosting.
But what’s different this year is that viewers will have a hand in deciding the winner too. They can vote for the best contestant via SMS, contributing the remaining 10% of the total score.

You stand by the mile stone
a long day behind you
and then on the highroad
Your destiny find you
Bridge:
Now you made it this far
by trusting your heart
Tell me why would it lie to you now
Chorus:
Every single star tonight
is shining there to guide you
Everywhere you going every single step of the way
Anyway you walk if you should fall, stop and wonder where you are
As any single star
Dont think that its over
Dont think the dreams gone
Look over your shoulder
and see where you came from
Bridge:
Chorus:
Theres a star right there to tell you
The light is there to help you
Stars are there to show you the way
Every time you need a leg
you'll find them right beside you
Every single star is waiting at the end of the day
Chorus 2x
