STAB or stab may refer to:

Scream 2

Scream 2 is a 1997 American slasher film directed by Wes Craven and written by Kevin Williamson. It stars Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, David Arquette, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Jamie Kennedy and Liev Schreiber. Dimension Films released it on December 12, 1997, as the second installment in the Scream film series. Scream 2 takes place two years after Scream and again follows the character of Sidney Prescott (Campbell), now a student at the fictional Windsor College, who becomes the target of a copycat killer using the guise of Ghostface. Sidney is accompanied by film-geek Randy Meeks (Kennedy), retired deputy sheriff Dewey Riley (Arquette) and news reporter Gale Weathers (Cox). Like its predecessor, Scream 2 combines the violence of the slasher genre with elements of comedy and "whodunit" mystery while satirizing the cliché of film sequels. The film was followed by two sequels, Scream 3 (2000) and Scream 4 (2011).

Williamson provided a five-page outline for a sequel to Scream when auctioning his original script, hoping to entice bidders with the potential of buying a franchise. Following a successful test screening of Scream and the film's financial and critical success, Dimension films moved forward with the sequel while Scream was still in theaters, with the principal cast all returning to star, Craven to direct and Beltrami to provide music.

Stab (music)

In music, a stab is a single staccato chord that adds dramatic impact to a composition. Stabs are usually provided by horns (real or synthesized), thus the term horn stab, or an orchestral sample, usually occur on a 1-beat, and are frequently used in funk, freestyle, and ska.

As well, stabs are used in electronic music, in the form of tiny snippets of a song used as rhythmic accents in a new composition. Early Breakbeat Hardcore, such as Prodigy's "Fire", and Hip hop in general made use of stabs.

Unite! (Ayumi Hamasaki song)

"Unite!" is the twenty-third single by Ayumi Hamasaki, released on July 11, 2001. It is her sixth single released in Germany.

Unlike most of her other A-sides and some of her B-sides, Unite! has no PV. It has been performed on various occasions and has been featured on a commercial, yet no promotional video was ever aired.

Unite! was the background music in Hamasaki's last commercial for Kirin Supli.

Unite (The O.C. Supertones album)

Unite is The O.C. Supertones eighth album. It is a Collection of Hits from throughout the bands career. The band entered the studio for the last time to take part in this best of collection. They intended to record some new songs for the collection, but due to heavy touring, the band could not finish the new songs. As a result, the band re-recorded some old songs. There were more than two songs recorded though. The band also re-recorded Grounded, Strike Back, and Unite, but were never released. Also recorded were new versions of "Hold Onto Jesus" and a Reggae version of "Louder Than the Mob" for their worship collection, "Faith of a Child."
