St Dominic's College, Penrith

St Dominic's College is an all-boys Catholic secondary school located in Penrith, New South Wales. St. Dominic's College was established in 1959 under Christian Brothers and to this day is officially run by Christian Brothers. Between 1978 and 1985 years 11 and 12 (the most senior years) at the college were co-educational. With the establishment of McCarthy Catholic College at Emu Plains, however, the college returned to being an all-boys school. Currently, more than 1100 students from across Greater Western Sydney attend the college. St Dominic's College has had extensive success in producing professional Rugby League players and coaches. Current and former NRL coaches Brad Fittler, Des Hasler and Tim Sheens attended the college. Along with them, Greg Alexander, Luke Rooney Geoff Daniela and Michael Jennings all attended and played for the College. Former New Zealand national rugby league team captain Graham Kennedy was principal of the college from 1994-2002. The college's senior study has been named after him for his service to the college. Current NSW Member of Parliament Stuart Ayres also attended the college. In 2009, the school's DUX received an ATAR of 99.85.

Campus

St. Dominic's College is located in Kanjirappally, Kottayam. The campus is 4 km from Kanjirappally town along the NH 220 highway. The campus is connected by buses to Kottayam, Pala and Changanacherry.

The facilities are integrated into a single block. The administrative section is located at the ground floor. The departments are distributed across the two wings of the entrance.

The college has an auditorium with integrated indoor sports facilities. The auditorium was constructed to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of the college.

The college sports stadium is located to the right of the main building.

St Dominic's College, Henderson is an integrated college for girls in Year 7 to Year 13 located in Henderson, Auckland, New Zealand. The College was founded by the Dominican Sisters in 1952 in Northcote, Auckland. The school was transferred to Henderson in 1968. In 1982 the school was integrated into the State education system under the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975.

The school is set in spacious grounds with up to date facilities which include swimming pool, technology equipment, computers, music suite and flood-lit netball courts.
