The Take were a post-punk band from Melbourne, Australia, in the late 1970s. The Take were involved in the little band scene, and had a track, "Summer", on the Little Band EP released in 1979. Summer was re-released on Chapter Music's Can't Stop It! Australian Post-Punk 1978-82 retrospective CD in 2001.

The Take are a pop rock band from Sydney, Australia. The members are Justin Roberts (vocals/keys), Robb Mitchell (guitar), Shane Yasserie (bass) and Tim Vickery (drums).

Musical influences

The Take's musical influences include The Killers, Fall Out Boy and Panic! at the Disco.

Music career

Justin Roberts and Robb Mitchell met in high school, and a mutual love of music led them to create the band Streetlight Theatre, which also featured Shane Yasserie. Under this name, they supported Kisschasy, Something with Numbers, Avalon Drive and Angelas Dish. In 2006 they were joined by Tim Vickery on drums, and became The Take.

The Take recorded their first single, Breathe, with Australian producer Greg Stace, and released it in April 2009. Shortly after, they set off to perform in the Boost Mobile Rock The Schools Tour, starting on 4 May 2009 with Balwyn High School. They toured for four weeks, visiting 20 high schools in Victoria, Australia. In October and November 2010, The Take toured extensively with Australian band Amy Meredith. November 2010 saw them also touring with Thirsty Merc and in January 2011, with For Our Hero.

Skype for Business Server (formerly Microsoft Office Communications Server and Microsoft Lync Server) is real-time communications server software that provides the infrastructure for enterprise instant messaging, presence, VoIP, ad hoc and structured conferences (audio, video and web conferencing) and PSTN connectivity through a third-party gateway or SIP trunk. These features are available within an organization, between organizations and with external users on the public internet or standard phones (on the PSTN as well as SIP trunking).

Features

One basic use of Lync Server is instant messaging (IM) and presence within a single organization. This includes support for rich presence information, file transfer and voice and video communication. Lync uses Interactive Connectivity Establishment for NAT traversal and TLS encryption to enable secure voice and video both inside and outside the corporate network.

Lync Server also supports remote users, both corporate users on the Internet (e.g. mobile or home workers) as well as users in partner companies. Lync supports identity federation, enabling interoperability with other corporate IM networks. Federation can be configured either manually (where each partner manually configures the relevant edge servers in the other organization) or automatically (using the appropriate SRV records in the DNS).
