Gigolo (Elena Paparizou song)

"Gigolo" is a song by Greek singer Helena Paparizou. It has been recorded in two languages; Greek and English, Greek/English versions also exist. The Greek version is the first track from the Greek album Iparhi Logos, while the English version appears on the international album The Game of Love. The song was released as the third single from the album. It had moderate success on several Japanese radio stations due to the release of the album.

In July 2006 the video for "Gigolo" premiered in Greece. The video is in Greeklish (Greek/English), with the first verse in Greek and the rest of the song in English. In the video Elena plays 2 parts: of herself and of the gigolo that steals Elena's mobile phone.

The video starts with Elena talking on her phone when the gigolo steals it. Security goes after the gigolo while Elena goes on set to shoot her newest videoclip. She dances to her song and as the second verse of the chorus starts the gigolo films Elena with the phone. Elena notices this and quickly chases the gigolo, along with her three dancers. Elena ends up in the car park of the building where she finds her phone on the ground. She looks at the phone, seeing a video of herself moments ago. As the song comes to an end, the gigolo appears from behind, slowly revealing that it's actually Elena herself.

"Gigolo" is a song by American rapper Nick Cannon. It was released in October 2003 as the third single from his self-titled debut studio album Nick Cannon. It features R. Kelly. The single peaked at number nine on the Hot Rap Tracks chart, and number twenty-four on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. This song was also featured on the 2004 compilation album Now That's What I Call Music! 15.

Dangerously in Love is the debut studio album by American recording artist Beyoncé. It was released on June 20, 2003 by Columbia Records. During the recording of Destiny's Child's third studio album, Survivor (2001), the group announced that they would produce solo albums to be released. Recording sessions for the album took place from March 2002 to March 2003 at several studios, during the hiatus of her then-group Destiny's Child. As executive producer of the album, Beyoncé took a wider role in its production, co-writing a majority of the songs, choosing which ones to produce and sharing ideas on the mixing and mastering of tracks.

The tracks in the album are a mixture of uptempos and ballads, which are basically inspired by R&B and soul genres; it also features elements of hip hop and Arabic music. Although Beyoncé remained discreet about her interpretation of the songs, its underlying meanings were attributed by music writers as an allusion to her intimate relationship with boyfriend (later husband) and well-known music mogul Jay-Z. Dangerously in Love received positive reviews from music critics upon its release, with critics praising Knowles' "artistic leap". Kelly Richey

Kelly Richey (born November 30, 1962) is an American blues rock guitarist, singer and composer based out of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Early life

Kelly Richey was born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky, United States, in a conservative Christian household that avoided rock music. Her first instrument was the piano. Her second instrument was a drum kit that her neighbor let her take home. After a couple of months of playing drums in her bedroom, her father offered to buy her anything she wanted; she chose the guitar. She started learning guitar at age 15; she reached a point where she was practicing 12 hours a day.

Career

Kelly Richey joined the Arista Records group Stealin' Horses in 1986. In 1990, she formed The Kelly Richey Band (KRB). In 1997 she moved from Lexington to Mount Auburn, Cincinnati. Writing of her 2001 album Sending Me Angels, Guitar Player praised her "fiery solos" and her "fast, powerful picking hand", which she credited to having played as a drummer. She cites Roy Buchanan as an influence, besides Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jimi Hendrix. She released eleven albums between 1994 and 2008. Her 2006 album Speechless consisted entirely of instrumentals.
