Signals is an album by American jazz pianist Mal Waldron featuring performances recorded in Baarn, Holland in 1971 and released on the Freedom label.
The Allmusic review by Scott Yanow awarded the album 4 stars stating "this set features a solo outing by Waldron that fully displays his continually evolving style. He had moved away from his earlier Thelonious Monk influence to an extent and developed his own brooding style which made expert use of repetition. Waldron's four originals give him plenty of opportunity to stretch out".
Signals is the ninth studio album by Canadian rock band Rush, released in 1982. It was the follow-up to the successful Moving Pictures. Stylistically, the album was a continuation of Rush's foray into the technology-oriented 1980s through increased use of electronic instrumentation such as synthesizers, sequencers, and electric violin. Other noticeable changes were decreased average song length and lyrical compression. The album reached #10 on the Billboard album charts and was certified platinum (one million copies sold) by the RIAA in November 1982.
The writing of the album began in 1981, during soundchecks on the Moving Pictures Tour, which they taped. Coincidentally, parts of "Chemistry" were written by the band at once while they were separated from each other. Geddy Lee wrote the keyboard melody for the bridge section, Alex Lifeson wrote the guitar riff for the verse and Neil Peart wrote the drum beat for the chorus, and in a move unusual for Rush, Lee and Lifeson came with the concept and title for the song and presented rough lyrics for Peart to polish. In April, in Orlando, Florida, the band attempted to watch a launch of the Space Shuttle Columbia. It was canceled because of a computer malfunction, and they finally observed the launch a few days later for inspiration in writing "Countdown".
Signals is the debut album by the British rock band Mallory Knox. The album was released on 21 January 2013.
Mallory Knox formed in September 2009. After two months, drummer Dave Rawling, bassist Sam Douglas, and guitarist Joe Savins invited guitarist James Gillett and vocalist Mikey Chapman to a practice session. The group hit it off instantly, as Chapman explains, "Everyone was on the same page; we were all there for the right reasons". All of the members had previously played in locals band prior to Mallory Knox.
"Creeper" was written during a period when vocalist Mikey Chapman was growing sick of what was on TV. According to Chapman, "I was watching the House of Commons and seeing them talk over one another and talk shit and just being completely pathetic and pointless and wasting time. It just really wound me up."
The band recorded Signals in three weeks in January 2012. Drums were tracked in a day and a half.
A year elapsed before the band decided to release Signals on 21 January 2013 through A Wolf at Your Door. Following this, all of the band members quit their day jobs to focus on Mallory Knox as a full-time project. A deluxe edition was released on 7 October. The bonus tracks that came from the deluxe editions consisted of new tracks and also a re-release of Oceans, previously recorded on their début EP Pilot. For the release of the deluxe edition, the band embarked on a headlining tour across the UK, along with band Blitz Kids and The Crooks as supporting bands.

Space is the boundless three-dimensional extent in which objects and events have relative position and direction. Physical space is often conceived in three linear dimensions, although modern physicists usually consider it, with time, to be part of a boundless four-dimensional continuum known as spacetime. The concept of space is considered to be of fundamental importance to an understanding of the physical universe. However, disagreement continues between philosophers over whether it is itself an entity, a relationship between entities, or part of a conceptual framework.
Space, stylized as SPACE, is the fourteenth album by the Canadian comedy music group, The Arrogant Worms. It was released in March 2014.
