Southery is a civil parish in the English county of Norfolk. It covers an area of 18.12 km2 (7.00 sq mi) and had a population of 1,161 in 476 households at the 2001 census, the population increasing to 1,324 at the 2011 Census. For the purposes of local government, it falls within the district of King's Lynn and West Norfolk. Southery has a primary school, village hall, shop with Post Office services and two public houses (2010). Other traders include motor vehicle repairs, signmakers, engineering works, hairdressers (2) and a potato packing plant. The village hosted a carnival until 1991.
