Soulful may refer to:

Soulful (Dionne Warwick album)

Soulful, an album by Dionne Warwick, was released in 1969 on Scepter Records. It was the first of Warwick's Scepter albums that did not directly involve her longtime production and songwriting team of Burt Bacharach and Hal David being produced by Warwick and Chips Moman and comprising covers of Soul or what were considered Soul-influenced Pop songs designed to showcase Warwick as more of an R&B singer than had her collaborations with Bacharach and David.

History

Warwick was encouraged to make an R&B album by the surprise appearance of B-side of her smash hit "Do You Know the Way to San Jose": "Let Me Be Lonely" on the R&B chart, where the gospel-tinged track with little or no promotion reached #71.

Soulful was recorded at Moman's American Studios in Memphis, Tennessee; Warwick was backed by the studio houseband comprising Gene Chrisman (drums), Tommy Cogbill (bass), Bobby Emmons (keyboards) and Reggie Young (guitar). Thirteen tracks were recorded: Warwick's renditions of "The Weight", "Loving You Is Sweeter Than Ever" and "The Love of My Man" were not included on the album.

Soulful is the 2003 debut album from second-season American Idol winner Ruben Studdard. It was released on December 3, 2003, by J Records.

The album debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200 U.S. album chart selling over 417,000 copies in its first week, and has since been certified a platinum record. In the U.S. the album has sold an estimated 1,779,000.

Reunited is a 2014 album by the family group The Jets, at this point composed of siblings Eddie, Elizabeth, Haini, Kathi, Leroy, Moana and Rudy Wolfgramm. It features six new songs and four re-recordings of past hit songs.

"Reunited" was a hit song for R&B vocal duo Peaches & Herb. As the second single release from their 1978 album, 2 Hot, the song was a huge crossover smash, topping both the pop and soul charts. It spent four weeks at number one on both the R&B singles chart and the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart in 1979 and sold over 2 million copies. Billboard ranked it as the No. 5 song for 1979.

The song was written by Dino Fekaris and Freddie Perren, and was the sequel song to the duo's 1968 hit "(We'll Be) United", which was itself a cover of The Intruders' original 1966 hit.
