Something About Us
"Something About Us" is a song by all-female German pop band No Angels. It was chiefly written by band member Vanessa Petruo along with frequent collaborator Thorsten Brötzmann and Alexander Geringas for the group's second studio album Now... Us! (2002), and created as a response to what the band felt was intense and sometimes unfair and inaccurate media criticism at the time, predominantly resulting from the clichés and prejudices generally associated with their manufactured band image. Produced by Brötzmann and co-producer Jeo, the uptempo track incorporates elements of both the contemporary R&B and dance-pop genre as well as Latin-pop and church music during the ironical bridge.
Released as the album's leading single on May 6, 2002 in German-speaking Europe, the record achieved major success by becoming the group's third non-consecutive number-one hit in Austria and Germany within a period of fifteen months. In addition, it reached number three on Eurochart Hot 100 Singles chart and number eleven in Switzerland, eventually going platinum. The record was generally well received by contemporary critics, who acclaimed the band for the production and inclusion of self-written material, and was nominated for both a 2002 Top of the Pops Awards and the 2003 ECHO Award for Best National Single — Rock/Pop.

"Something About Us" is a song by the French electronic music duo Daft Punk. It was released as the sixth and final single from the 2001 album Discovery as a promotion for their 2003 animated feature film Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem. The song reached No. 93 on the SNEP chart ranking.
Music video
There are two music videos for "Something About Us". The first video is a scene from Interstella 5555. After escaping their kidnapper, two members of the alien band The Crescendolls (drummer Baryl and bass player Stella) enter a waiting taxicab driven by keyboardist Octave. They drive to a warehouse where their rescuer, Shep, is laying on the floor bleeding to death, as a result of being shot by a laser during an earlier scene in the film. Shep raises his injured arm out to his crush Stella. She takes it and experiences a dream sequence that reveals Shep's feelings for her. When they come back, Shep then reveals The Crescendolls' true identities. The band expresses their gratitude as Shep dies.
Cák
Cák is a village in Vas County, Hungary. It is 25 km away from Szombathely and 6 km North from Kőszeg.
History
In Cák graves have been found from Roman times. The earliest known reference to the village was from 1279 as Villa Chak. Turks destroyed the village in 1532, and Christian soldiers burned it down in 1573 and 1606.

Çük (Çuq; IPA: [ɕyk] or [ɕuq]; Cyrillic: Чук, Чүк, Чӳк, Чӱк) was a holiday of Keräşen Tatars, Chuvashes, Udmurts, preserved before the beginning of 20th century. It was celebrated as summer, before the Whitsunday or at the Poqraw eve (The Intercession). Commoners arranged a collective meal, and called for rain.
