1017 Records

1017 Records, also known as 1017 Brick Squad Records, is an American record label founded by Gucci Mane after his departure from Mizay Entertainment and the closing of So Icey Entertainment. The label has been a home to artists such as Waka Flocka Flame, Young Thug, Young Scooter, and Chief Keef among others. Atlantic Records was hitherto been a distributor but the label parted ways with Atlantic in late 2013. 1017 Records is currently distributed By 101 Distribution.

History

2007-2013

Gucci Mane opened the record label after signing with Mizay Entertainment in 2007, following the release of his independent album Trap-A-Thon. On May 4, 2010, Mane announced he had closed So Icey Entertainment and left Mizay Entertainment due to business problems with Debra Antney.

Gucci Mane stated that he was starting his own record label and that his employer, Jerry Alvarado, was already signing a distribution deal with Asylum Records. The first artists to sign up to 1017 Brick Squad were OJ Da Juiceman and Waka Flocka Flame, who signed up whilst they were still signed to Mizay Entertainment.

Marvin Scandrick (born September 30, 1978) better known as Slim, is an American R&B recording artist best known for his unique voice and his lead vocals in the Bad Boy group 112. After 112 released their fifth album, Pleasure & Pain in 2005, Slim decided to embark on a solo career. In 2008 Slim released the single "So Fly", featuring Yung Joc which was quickly embraced by R&B fans and DJ's alike. So Fly had reached #49 on the Billboard Hot 100. His debut album, Love's Crazy, was released on November 18, 2008 and featured other hit singles such as "Good Lovin" ( Featured Ryan Leslie and Fabolous ), "Heels On" (Featuring Young Berg and Deezo), and "Loves Crazy (Featuring Big Boy)

He is currently the CEO of his own label, M3 Productions.

Slim confirmed that his next project is called "Cruise Control". On November 8, 2011, Slim was seen in New York near CEG talent and their recording facilities, Phase One Studios. He was in the company of DJ Lyte, Lucky Calhoun, and Kevin Rockhill. Their collaboration has references to Notorious B.I.G on their Twitter accounts after their studio session.

SlimBrowser

SlimBrowser is a tabbed multiple-site web browser from FlashPeak that uses the Microsoft Trident layout engine. It incorporates a large collection of features like built-in popup killer, skinned window frame, form filler, site group, quick-search, auto login, hidden sites, built-in commands and scripting, online translation, script error suppression, blacklist/whitelist filtering, and URL Alias.

SlimBrowser was one of the twelve browser choices offered to European Economic Area users of Microsoft Windows in 2010.

Since V6.0, SlimBrowser has adopted a multi-process architecture to improve stability and eliminate performance restrictions associated with traditional single process browsers. SlimBrowser included a full-featured form filler with support of multiple identities in V6.01.

FlashPeak has also released two SlimBrowser clone with different engines from Trident: Slimjet which uses Chromium and SlimBoat which currently it is no longer supported, that utilizes the WebKit.
