Simon Moore is a British screenplay writer. He wrote Traffik miniseries, which was the basis for the Oscar-winning adaptation written for Traffic. He is also the writer and director of the 1991 film Under Suspicion and the fantasy mini series The 10th Kingdom (2000).
For the last five years, Moore has been working on This is The Frequency of LA, a secret drama and musical project that breaks all the rules. Simon William Moore (born 19 May 1990) is an English footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Cardiff City. He has also represented Isle of Wight at international level.
Born in Sandown on Isle of Wight, Moore started at the Academy of Brading Town. He was signed by Premier League side Southampton academy, where he trained with Theo Walcott. Moore revealed he was released by the club for being too small. He returned Isle of Wight based side Brading Town, before signing for Farnborough.
Moore signed with Brentford in August 2009 after spending the summer at the club on trial, but had to wait until May 2010 to make his debut, when he appeared against Hartlepool United as a substitute for regular number one goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny.
He was loaned out in October 2010 to Basingstoke Town and played until January 2011, in 10 games for the club.
The 2012–13 season was Moore's breakthrough season at Brentford. He started the season as an understudy to goalkeeper Richard Lee. During Lee's time out injured Moore put in some good performances and cemented his place in the Brentford team under Uwe Rosler.
Rear Admiral Simon Moore CB (born 25 September 1946) is a retired Royal Navy officer and a former 'Assistant Chief of Defence Staff for Operations'. He was educated at Brentwood School in Essex.
He is currently the Chair of Governors at Hurstpierpoint College, a Vice President of the Maritime Volunteer Service and a Charity Trustee of The British Youth Opera.
