Dask or Desk (Persian: دسك) may refer to:
The DASK was the first computer in Denmark. It was commissioned in 1955, designed and constructed by Regnecentralen, and began operation in September 1957. DASK is an acronym for Dansk Aritmetisk Sekvens Kalkulator or Danish Arithmetic Sequence Calculator. Regnecentralen almost didn't allow the name, as the word dask means "slap" in Danish. In the end however, it was named so as it fit the pattern of the name BESK, the Swedish computer which provided the initial architecture for DASK.
DASK traces its origins to 1947 and a goal set by Akademiet for de Tekniske Videnskaber (Academy for the Technical Sciences or Academy of Applied Sciences), which was to follow the development of the modern computing devices. Initial funding was obtained through the Ministry of Defence (Denmark) as the Danish Military had been given a grant through the Marshall Plan for cipher machines for which the military saw no immediate need.
Originally conceived to be a copy of BESK, the rapid advancement in the field allowed improvements to be made during the development such that in the end, it was not a copy of BESK. The DASK was a one-off design that took place in a villa. The machine became so big that the floor had to be reinforced to support its mass of 3.5 metric tons.
Sick may refer to:
Sick EP is the debut extended play by American metalcore band Beartooth and is produced by Caleb Shomo formerly of the band Attack Attack! who sang and recorded all the instruments used on the album. It was released on July 26, 2013 through Red Bull Records for free download.
Caleb Shomo began writing Beartooth songs while he was still in Attack Attack! as "a different musical outlet" as a way to make fun, punk-rock, hardcore, wild music, play crazy shows and have a good time without pressure from anything. The first release from this album was the song 'I Have a Problem', released on February 6, 2013 along with a live music video. The band was officially announced to be part of the roster for 'Red Bull Records' later that year in June. Later that month, the band released their EP via email subscription, and later toured with City Lights across the US throughout August to promote the EP.
The band released a total of four music videos in promotion of the EP. Before the albums announcement, they released a live music video for 'I Have a Problem. They later released the other three videos for 'I Have a Problem' (not to be confused with their earlier live version), 'Pick Your Poison' and 'Go Be the Voice'. The song 'Go Be the Voice' was featured on Altpress article '11 New Songs You Need To Hear Right Now: November 2013 Edition' in promotion of the song, EP and then recent video.

You have got me going zig zag
gets my mind to blowing zig zag
you can't lose me if you try zig zag zig zag
pass it on by
I don't need no highing zig zag
girl you got me flying zig zag
I can nearly touch the sky zig zag zig zag
pass it on by
You have got my heart turned on
Why don't you push it on ahead
Till your heart turns on
You've got love and our lovin' is dead
Instead of wishing for the knowing zig zag
the way you got me going zig zag
I'm so glad you caught my eye zig zag zig zag
Pass it on by
You have got my heart turned on
Why don't you push it on ahead
Till your heart turns on
You've got love and our lovin' is dead
Instead of wishing for the knowing zig zag
the way you got me going zig zag
I'm so glad you caught my eye zig zag zig zag
Pass it on by
