The Face was a British reality television series based on the American series of the same name. It aired on Sky Living from September to November 2013. The series saw three supermodels - Caroline Winberg, Erin O'Connor and Naomi Campbell - compete with each other to find the newest face of Max Factor.

The premiere of The Face drew poor ratings of only 132,000 viewers, a market share of 0.6% of British households watching TV at the time, and below the audience Sky Living averaged in the same time slot - 239,000 viewers (1% share) - during the year before the show aired. In July 2014, it was confirmed that due to poor ratings, the show was axed would not return for a second series.

The Face (Australian TV series)

The Face was an Australian reality television modelling competition series aired on Fox8 of Foxtel and produced by Shine Australia. Naomi Campbell was the show's executive producer and one of the three supermodel coaches of the series, as with The Face (U.S.) and The Face (U.K.). It was reported that the channel and production team acquired the right to create an adaptation for Australian TV on 31 August 2013. Filming for the series took place from 1 November to 4 December 2013. The series was broadcast from March to May 2014.

The show premiered to 40,000 national viewers, which was the 18th most watched show on subscription television that night, but only fourth most watched program on FOX8. The remaining episodes of the series rated under 50,000 national viewers, with the finale attracting only 16,000 viewers (plus 25,000 viewers on FOX8 +2)

Requirements

All applicants attempting to enter the competition were required to be female and be over the age of 18 or under the age 30 as of 1 November 2013. Applying contestants were also required to meet the minimum height requirement of 172 cm. Past experience as a model was not a requisite. Those with experience as a model could not have been in any national campaign within previous five years before applying. The deadline for all applications was 22 September 2013.

"Shy Guy" is a song by Jamaican recording artist and songwriter Diana King, for the movie soundtrack album Bad Boys and her debut studio album Tougher Than Love (1995). The song was written by King herself, with the help of Andy Marvel and Kingsley Gardner, while it was produced by Marvel. The song was released in 1995 as the lead single by Sony Music worldwide. The song received positive reviews from music critics, with many saying it was a definite highlight through the album and some saying it was one of the best reggae fusion songs then. Allmusic had highlighted the song as both highlighted threw the soundtrack and her debut album. The song also received charting success, mostly known as a one hit wonder. The song had peaked at number thirteen on the U.S., and also went to number two in the UK. The song had also topped the charts in Finland and Sweden.

Chart performance

"Shy Guy" was released as the lead single on both King's album and the soundtrack of Bad Boys. The song received charting success worldwide. The song had debuted at number thirty-five on the Australian Singles Chart, but later peaked at number three there, staying there for three consecutive weeks on the charts. The song later debuted at number twenty-eight on the New Zealand Singles Chart, but after seventeen weeks, it peaked at number three for a sole week. It is currently the 75th Best Selling Single in New Zealand History. The song had peaked at number thirteen on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and number twenty-one on the U.S. Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs. It was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), shipping over 500,000 copies there.

List of recurring Mario franchise enemies

This is a list of common enemies in the Mario franchise. The enemies on the list are in alphabetical order, and are most commonly found in Super Mario games, in which Bowser commands his minions to block and act as obstacles to Mario, who is normally attempting to rescue Princess Peach.

Most of these enemies are identical in look and are classified as species. While only those who belong to Bowser or specific antagonists are enemies to Mario or players, other members of these species (usually individuals) have their own life in or out of Mushroom Kingdom (e.g. King Boo; Goombario), similar with Toads or Yoshis. Most of them appear in the Mario role-playing games, and some may even aid Mario in his adventures.

Some Mario spin-off games present enemy species as playable characters even though they are not always actual individual characters.

Blooper

Bloopers (Gessō (ゲッソー) in Japanese, originally known in English as Bloobers) are white, squid-like creatures that often appear in water-based levels. Mario Party 8 was the first game in which Blooper appeared as a playable character.
