Shunem

Shunem (Hebrew: שׁוּנֵם; Douay-Rheims: Sunam) is a small village mentioned in the Bible. It was located in the tribe of Issachar, to the north of Jezreel and south of Mount Gilboa Joshua 19,18.

Shunem is listed as a town conquered by the Egyptian pharaohs Thutmose III and Shoshenk I.

Shunem may be identified as the modern village of Sulam.
