Shout!!!

Shout!!! (シャウト!!!, Shauto!!!) is the 21st single from the Japanese idol group Idoling!!!. It reached number 3 on M-ON! Countdown 100, number 2 on Music Station Single Ranking, and number 6 on Oricon Weekly Chart. Idoling!!! was divided into two groups. The main body of the group stayed with the name Idoling!!!, while the other group was called Idoling NEO. Idoling NEO consists of Idoling!!!'s new members, who just joined in August 2013, with addition of #23 Yuna Ito and #25 Kaoru Goto. Both groups released a single at the same time, with Idoling!!! releasing Shout!!! as their 21st single under the Pony Canyon label and Idoling NEO released mero mero as their first single under the Avex label. Both had to compete on the Oricon weekly chart for which group sold more than the other. The losing side will then receive a severe punishment.

On November 25, 2013, it was announced that Idoling NEO lost in the competition. Idoling NEO has to receive the punishment, which is having to wear skinny tights.

Shout (magazine)

Shout is a UK magazine for teenage girls, published by D. C. Thomson & Co. Ltd of Dundee, Scotland, since 1993. It is not to be confused with Shout NY, a cult thought and culture magazine published in New York City from 1998-2003.

It carries articles on fashion, celebrities, flowcharts, true stories, problems and embarrassing moments. It is printed fortnightly, normally at £2.99, and is read by over 520,000 people each fortnight.

The categories include a wide range of articles. The celebrity pages may have a topic (such as celebs who pick their noses, etc.) or can be just be embarrassing or enhancing pictures. Fashion shows clothes available at various stores and different ways to wear them and different ranges of colors and ways to apply make up to enhance one's features. Flow charts and polls let readers express their opinion and see what other people think on a topic. True stories contain stories of people's experiences, problems or ailments. "Problems" is a write-back system which allows girls to send in their problems which may appear in the magazine or receive a written reply. "Embarrassing moments" is a feature on readers' recent embarrassing moments. They are rated on how embarrassing they are: if the editors say 'Get over it', then it is deemed barely embarrassing; 'Slightly shameful' means it was embarrassing at the time but the reader should eventually get over it, and 'Completely cringey!' means she will never live it down. The magazine also features advice columns from youtubers Zoella and SprinkleofGlitter.

Dr. Knock

Dr. Knock (original title Knock) is a French comedy film from 1951, directed by Guy Lefranc, written by Georges Neveux, and starring by Louis Jouvet. It also features an uncredited appearance by Louis de Funès. The movie is based on the 1923 theatre play Knock ou le Triomphe de la médecine (Knock or The Triumph of Medicine) by Jules Romain.

Summary

The ambitious Dr. Knock arrives in the country village Saint-Maurice to succeed Dr. Parpalaid, a brave and honest man but whose customers are rare. The health status of the country is excellent. Realizing that he was duped by his predecessor, Dr. Knock is determined and successful in convincing everyone in good health that he or she is a patient who does not know. The result was immediate. The whole village is found in bed; the hotel is transformed into a clinic and even Dr. Parpalaid, who temporarily returns to his village, is worried about his health following the "diagnosis" of Dr. Knock, and also ends up in bed.

Knock (French title: Knock ou le Triomphe de la médecine) is a French satire written in 1923 by Jules Romains. The play was presented for the first time in Paris at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées on December 15, 1923, in a production starring Louis Jouvet.

Summary

The ambitious Dr. Knock arrives in the rural village of Saint-Maurice to succeed Dr. Parpalaid, an honorable man, but a physician with few patients. The people of the district are all in excellent health. Realizing that he was duped by his predecessor, Dr. Knock manages to convince everyone in good health that he or she needs medical care but does not know it.

Knock begins offering free consultations to the townsfolk and diagnoses them with exotic maladies in order to prescribe treatment. His practice thrives as the townspeople turn into hypochondriacs. The result is inevitable. All the villagers take to their sickbeds and the hotel is transformed into a clinic. Even Dr. Parpalaid, who has returned, receives a "diagnosis" from Dr. Knock and takes to bed.

Passions

Passions is an American soap opera which aired on NBC from July 5, 1999 to September 7, 2007 and on The 101 Network from September 17, 2007 to August 7, 2008.

Passions follows the lives and loves, and various romantic and paranormal adventures of the residents of Harmony. Story-lines center on the interactions among members of its multi-racial core families — the African American Russells, white Cranes and Bennetts, and half-Mexican half-Irish Lopez-Fitzgeralds — as well as the supernatural, including town witch Tabitha Lenox.

In January 2007, NBC canceled Passions but later handed it over to The 101 Network. The show aired its final NBC episode on September 7, 2007. Created by writer James E. Reilly and produced by NBC Studios, the series was subsequently picked up by direct broadcast satellite service DirecTV, which broadcast new episodes airing on its exclusive channel The 101. Passions aired its first DirectTV episode on September 17, 2007. In December 2007, DirecTV decided not to renew its contract for the series, and the studio was unable to sell the show elsewhere. The final episode aired on DirecTV on August 7, 2008.

Passions (Bach)

As Thomaskantor Johann Sebastian Bach provided Passion music for Good Friday services in Leipzig. The extant St Matthew Passion and St John Passion are the best known Passion oratorios composed by Bach.

Passions composed and/or staged by Bach

According to his "Nekrolog", the 1754 obituary written by Johann Friedrich Agricola and the composer's son Carl Philipp Emanuel, Bach wrote "five Passions, of which one is for double chorus". The double chorus one is easily identified as the St Matthew Passion. The St John Passion is the only extant other one that is certainly composed by Bach. The libretto of the St Mark Passion was published in Bach's time, allowing reconstruction based on the pieces Bach is known to have parodied for its composition, while the extant St Luke Passion likely contains little or no music composed by Bach. Which Bach compositions, apart from the known ones, may have been meant in the obituary remains uncertain.

The St John Passion is shorter and has simpler orchestration than the St Matthew Passion. The St John Passion has been described as more realistic, faster paced and more anguished than the reflective and resigned St. Matthew Passion.
