ShortsTV (known as ShortsHD in the United States) is a cable and satellite television channel dedicated to short film including Academy Award nominated short films.[3][4] It is franchise owned and operated by Shorts International and Chellomedia.[2] The channel launched in Europe on November 26, 2008 and in the United States on February 17, 2010.[1] It is available in 40 million homes worldwide.[5][6]
