Shatterstar (Gaveedra-Seven) is a fictional mutant superhero in the Marvel Comics Universe. Created by writer Fabian Nicieza and artist Rob Liefeld, the character first appeared in New Mutants vol.1 #99 (March 1991), after which he became a member of the superhero team X-Force. He later became an employee of X-Factor Investigations, a private detective firm starring in the series X-Factor. In 2013, ComicsAlliance ranked Shatterstar as #29 on their list of the "50 Sexiest Male Characters in Comics".
Shatterstar first appeared in The New Mutants vol. 1 #99 (March 1991), and was created by Fabian Nicieza and Rob Liefeld. Since his debut Shatterstar has mainly appeared in the original X-Force title, with some issues devoted solely to him. In 2005, the character was featured in his own limited series, X-Force: Shatterstar. Shatterstar became a member of X-Factor in X-Factor #45 (August 2009).
Shatterstar comes from the planet Mojoworld (about a century in the future, as opposed to the Mojoverse which co-exists with the contemporary Earth dimension, making him a time traveler as well as a dimension-hopper) which is ruled by the alien tyrant Mojo. There, Shatterstar was created to be a slave; he claims to have had no parents, only a "gestation chamber." He was genetically engineered to have enhanced physical capabilities so he could serve as an arena gladiator.
Shatterstar is a fictional character in the Marvel Universe.
Shatterstar first appeared in Inhumans #3-6 (February-August 1976), and was created by Doug Moench and George Pérez. The character subsequently appears in Captain Marvel #53 (November 1977), and Avengers #383 (February 1995).
Shatterstar was a Kree "super-soldier" prototype who could fly and project destructive energy beams from his wrist devices.
Shatterstar (Arides) was sent to Earth as part of a plant to capture the Inhumans for military use. The Inhuman Royal Family fought Shatterstar, but discovered that his powers made him more than a match for them. Black Bolt used the weaponry aboard Shatterstar's own ship to blast him into unconsciousness and take him back to Attilan. Attilan had been taken over by Maximus the Mad and his allies, and when Shatterstar revived he joined forces with Maximus. Triton goaded Shatterstar into following him into the Corridor of Memories, and tricked him into firing at a reflection of Triton in the Mirror of Eternity. The blast reflected back at Shatterstar and apparently obliterated him.
Shatterstar, in comics, may refer to:
Mortification of the innocent
The odious anger remains
This is the final funeral
Buried by the dust
The dust from an ancient soul
At a inverted crucifix
your blessed body shall rot
Your inner organs will be replaced by me
I use your body for my sickening science
My obscene autopsy of you
as I cut you limb by limb
Your body I sliced upon altar of my human
flesh pot art
I will slowly perverted get to work
on a cadaver that is as cold as ice
Your inner organs will be replaced by me
I use your body for my sickening science
My obscene autopsy of you
as I cut you limb by limb
Draining your substance
Tearing your soul apart
Your body soon will perish
into the void of outrageous art
I want you to enter my kingdom
of putrefaction and sickening deeds
as I call upon you my stillborn child
To slaughter is getting me high
Dismembered mind
It's a sickening crime
Death is astray
of my sick sadistic ways
