The following is a list of fictional starships, cruisers, battleships, and other spacecraft in the Star Wars video games and movies.

Corellian Corvette

Death Star

The Death Star is a planet-destroying mobile space station that appears throughout the Star Wars franchise.

Ebon Hawk

The Ebon Hawk is the players character's ship in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. It is designed to be reminiscent of the Millennium Falcon.

Geonosian solar sailer

Count Dooku (Christopher Lee) reaches Coruscant aboard a Geonosian solar sailer in Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones. The ship's solar sail was originally part of the concept for the Naboo royal starship in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. The insectoid ship resembles both a beetle and a butterfly. Its forward cockpit bubble was added when it was determined there was a need for a shot of Dooku sitting next to his pilot. It is somewhat similar to the private Antonov An-2 plane in real life.

Harbinger (comic book)

Harbinger is an American comic book series published by Valiant Comics about a group of teenage super-powered outcasts known as Harbingers.

Harbinger initially featured writing and art by Jim Shooter and David Lapham. After Acclaim Entertainment purchased the rights to the Valiant catalog for $65 million in 1994, the characters were rebooted in Harbinger: Acts of God to make them more easily adaptable to video games. They continued to appear in many Valiant titles, most prominently the Unity 2000 series. Harbinger was one of the best selling Valiant titles with total sales in all languages of over five million comics.

Publication history

Harbinger debuted with Harbinger #1 in January 1992.

In 2008, Valiant released Harbinger: The Beginning, a deluxe hardcover collecting the first seven issues. Harbinger: The Beginning reached #2 on Amazon.com’s graphic novels sales charts and within the top #300 of all books sold on Amazon.

In June 2012, Valiant Entertainment relaunched the Harbinger title as a new ongoing series, written by Joshua Dysart and illustrated by Khari Evans.

Harbinger (Paula Cole album)

Harbinger is singer–songwriter Paula Cole's debut album. It was originally released through Imago Records but just months after its release the company folded, therefore promotion for Harbinger was almost non-existent. A video was shot for the first single "I Am So Ordinary" and is available on iTunes. There were two different covers for the album, which was eventually re-released by Warner Brothers, who picked up Cole's contract in 1995 after absorbing Imago when it folded.

Shattered (book)

SHATTERED: The True Story of a Mother's Love, a Husband's Betrayal, and a Cold-Blooded Texas Murder, by author and novelist Kathryn Casey, is a true crime account of the killing of a pregnant woman whose body was discovered in 1999 in an upstairs closet in her home in Katy, Texas, near Houston. The book was published by HarperCollins in June 2010.

Case information

Belinda Lucas and David Temple dated as classmates at Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, Texas. David became a high school coach, and Belinda a teacher. They married and had one child, a boy. On January 11, 1999, when their son was 3 years old, Belinda, 30 years old and eight months pregnant with their second child, was killed by a single gunshot blast to her head. The weapon, a 12-gauge shotgun, was never found.

The case remained long unsolved; eventually the investigation revealed a history of cruelty and domination by Belinda’s husband, a respected member of his town’s close-knit community.

Despite being represented by Dick DeGuerin, a renowned Texas defense lawyer, David Temple was convicted of murder in the deaths of his wife and unborn baby girl in November 2007. Belinda had planned to name their daughter Erin. He was sentenced to life in prison, to be eligible for parole after 30 years. He has appealed the conviction.

Shattered (1921 film)

Shattered (German: Scherben) is a 1921 German silent Kammerspielfilm directed by Lupu Pick, written by Carl Mayer, and is considered to be the earliest example of the kammerspielfilm.

Plot

Set during the winter, the story tells the tale of a track checker and his family who live a monotonous and poverty-stricken life next to a railway line. They receive a telegram announcing the arrival of the section inspector, who is to live with the family.
