Sexy Sadie (band)
Sexy Sadie was a Spanish pop rock group from the island of Majorca. They sang in English. They released five full albums, plus one album of cover songs, one of rare tracks, and one of remixes.
Their name was inspired by The Beatles' song Sexy Sadie from their 1968 album The Beatles (also called "The White Album").
They formed in 1992, part of a wave of independent groups that arose in the early 1990s, along with Los Planetas and Manta Ray. Their recording career was always related with Subterfuge Records.
They broke up in 2006.

Sadie (サディ) is a visual keirock band from Japan, formed in 2005. Sadie is signed to Face Music and Mijinko Records.
Biography
Sadie was founded by Mao, Tsurugi, Aki, Mizuki and Sora in February 2005, and comes from the English word "sad", according to vocalist, Mao. Sora departed in January 2006 for "artistic differences", and in March, Kei joined the band to replace Sora.
Their first live appearance was on March 18, 2005 at Osaka Big Cat, when they were the opening act for D, Fatima, Doremidan, shulla, Kra and others.
On July 27, 2005 Sadie released their first maxi single, "Kokui no Shita no Yokubou to, Kunou no Hate ni Mita Hyakkei no Yuritachi", limited to 2000 copies that sold out rapidly.
On December 3, Sadie had their first oneman called "Dekiai ~ As a Sad Matter of Fact ~" in the Osaka Muse Hall in front of 250 people, introducing their new single "Dekiai", which came out a few days later and the single "Oboreru Sakana", exclusive for visitors of their concert.
After Sora left the group in January, Sadie were featured on an Omnibus compilation CD called sawayaka sankumi with the song "meisai". This CD was limited to 777 copies and came with only 3 tracks, one by Sadie, one by Billy and one by The Pumpkin Head.

"Sexy Sadie" is a song by the English rock group the Beatles from their 1968 album The Beatles (also known as "the White Album"). The song was written by John Lennon in India and credited to Lennon–McCartney.
Composition
Lennon originally wanted to title the song "Maharishi", but changed the title to "Sexy Sadie" at George Harrison's request. Lennon was disillusioned after Maharishi Mahesh Yogi had allegedly made a sexual advance towards Mia Farrow attending the course the Maharishi was teaching at his ashram. (Harrison, Paul McCartney, and Cynthia Lennon later said that they thought the story, which had come from Alexis Mardas, had been fabricated.) Lennon once said of the song: "That was inspired by Maharishi. I wrote it when we had our bags packed and were leaving. It was the last piece I wrote before I left India. I just called him, 'Sexy Sadie,' instead of (sings) 'Maharishi what have you done, you made a fool...' I was just using the situation to write a song, rather calculatingly but also to express what I felt. I was leaving the Maharishi with a bad taste. You know, it seems that my partings are always not as nice as I'd like them to be." He told Rolling Stone that when the Maharishi asked why he was leaving, he replied, "Well, if you're so cosmic, you'll know why."
