Sergio Pérez Moya

Sergio Pérez Moya (born 13 October 1986 Puebla, Mexico) is a Mexican footballer, who plays for Puebla of Liga MX. He is known as Cherokee.

Career

He began his career 2005 in his hometown team and made his debut on January 11, 2005 in a game against Tigres UANL, this year Puebla was relegated to Primera A. He helped the team return to Primera División (First Division), since then he is a constant in the starting 11. In 2009 he signed a 4-year contract to play for C.F. Monterrey. In November 2010 he won his first championship with C.F. Monterrey.

Guadalajara

For the Clausura 2013, Sergio Perez was transferred to Chivas on a trade for Omar Arellano who was headed to Monterrey. Cherokee played as a regular starter for Chivas during his first season, as a Right Back due to the departure of Omar Esparza to San Luis.

Querétaro and Atlante

Pérez signed with Querétaro in 2013 but he was immediately loaned out to Atlante.

Chiapas

On 4 May 2014 Chiapas announced they had signed Pérez on loan from Querétaro.

Sergio Pérez

Sergio Pérez Mendoza (Spanish  [ˈseɾxjo ˈpeɾes] ; born 26 January 1990) also known as "Checo" Pérez, is a Mexican racing driver, currently driving for Force India.

Pérez was a member of the Ferrari Driver Academy until 2012. He also took his first Formula One podium at the 2012 Malaysian Grand Prix with Sauber, a drive which won him plaudits and fuelled speculation of a move to Ferrari in the near future. However, Pérez later told reporters that he expected to stay with Sauber until at least the end of the 2012 season. Due to his young age and performance, he has been referred to as "The Mexican Wunderkind".

Pérez joined McLaren for the 2013 season however the car failed to deliver the team a single podium finish. Subsequently for the 2014 season, the team decided to replace Pérez with Danish driver Kevin Magnussen very late into the season almost leaving Pérez without a seat. In December 2013, it was announced that Force India had signed Pérez in a €15 million deal.

Sergio Pérez (baseball)

Sergio Daniel Perez (born December 5, 1984) is a professional baseball player for the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball.

Sergio Perez is a graduate out of University of Tampa. In 2006, he was drafted by the Houston Astros in the 2nd round.

He has played in the off-season with the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League for several seasons and has helped the Navegantes del Magallanes go into the playoffs.

He played for the Spain national baseball team in the 2013 World Baseball Classic.

On March 16, 2013, he signed a minor league contract with the Oakland Athletics.

On March 4, 2014, he signed a minor league contract with the Tampa Bay Rays.
